Day 1: Leave Nairobi (09:00 hours), drive to Mount Kenya national park, enter the sirimon park gate (2675 meters). Hike to old moses camp (3300 m). Hiking takes 3-4 hours.

Day 2: Hike to shiptons camp (4200 m). Hiking takes 7-8 hours.

Day 3: Pre-dawn (03:00 a.m) ascend the summit (Peak Lenana: 4985 m). Descend the teleki valley to mackinders camp (4200 m).

Day 4: Descend to met station camp (3030 m).

Day 5: Descend to Naromoro Park gate and transfer to Nairobi.
