Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where you will be welcomed by a representative and chauffeured to The Arusha Tumaini Cottages. Here you will enjoy a complimentary upgrade to one of the 12 Cottage Suites. Your stay at The Arusha Tumaini Cottages is on BB basis (Bed and Breakfast). Day 2: Tarangire national Park. After a leisurely breakfast you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park. Arriving mid-morning in the park and begin your first day tour in Tarangre National Park for an afternoon game drive after which you will enter through various areas of the park, The park is famous for its huge Baobab Trees and variety of big games. A group of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. It's the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. After the game drive you will drive to the Camp for dinner and overnight FB. Day 3: Lake Manyara national Park. After breakfast at Drive to Lake Manyara national park with your Picnic Lunch for a game drive through the park. Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large waterbirds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. After the game drive in the evening you will drive to Karatu Crater rim View Lodge for your dinner and overnight Full Board. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour. After breakfast, descend into the crater floor with your lunchbox for game viewing. The famous Ngorongoro Crate is rich of wildlife, each species have their own territories, so this is a very good time to visit the crater as it is during the end of November to December also during the end of the long rain season. Late April to May, numbers of animals come out for green grass and water so Spotting them becomes easy. Your packed lunch will be served on the crater floor at the picnic site near Lerai forest or hippo pool. Many crater visitors want to see rare species, “the Balck rhinoceros’, this is the right time, because during the dry season is very hard to see them as they are afraid of sun burn. Late afternoon ascend the crater for your dinner/overnight on the crater rim view lodge Karatu. Day 5: Karatu to Serengeti National Park. After breakfast at 0800 hrs drive from Karatu with your packed lunch and game enroute to the great Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After lunch at leisure in the lodge/ campsite or proceed with your game drive around Seronera or trace the direction of the migration. Dinner and Overnight in the Serengeti at Serengeti Ikoma Bush Camp FB. Day 6: Serengeti National Park Full Day. After breakfast leave with your linch for game drive on the Serengeti Park acacia Savannah in the central to the east region. Around 12.30 and 13.00 break for your picnic lunch, thereafter proceed with tour afternoon game drive. Im mid January to February, much to mid April, 95% of females of wildebeest mate to a total of 600,00 then 8 to 8.5 months later those females that conceived give birth on the same southern plains after a long travel. In July this phenomenal event is passing right infront of your tent at Ikoma Bush Camp. Evening drive to your campsite for your dinner and overnight at Serengeti Ikoma Bush Camp FB. Day 7: Serengeti to Karatu. After breakfast with your packed lunch drive and game enroute to Karatu. It is your option whether you pass by Oldupai Gorge a historical site whereby the early man lived and can also pass by the Maasai boma if you are interested in the real African life tradition and culture, After your lunch enroute adds to the crater rim view lodge karatu for your dinner and overnight FB. Day 8: Karatu to Lake Eyasi a visit to the Bush men. After breakfast you will drive to Lake eyasi where you will get chance to see the native and more cultured people known as Hadzabe. With the similarity to the Bush men of Kalahari Desert of Southern Africa, it will be you time to feel the African atmosphere feels you trip. The Hadza or Hadzabe are an ethnic group in north-central Tanzania, living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley and in the neighboring Serengeti Plateau. The Hadza number just under 1000. Some 300–400 Hadza live as hunter-gatherers, much as their ancestors have for thousands or even tens of thousands of years; they are the last full-time hunter-gatherers in Africa. The Hadza are not closely genetically related to any other people. While traditionally classified with the Khoisan languages, primarily because it has clicks, the Hadza language appears to be an isolate, unrelated to any other. The descendants of Tanzania's aboriginal hunter-gatherer population, they have probably occupied their current territory for several thousand years, with relatively little modification to their basic way of life until the past hundred years after this tour you will return to Karatu for your Overnight at Karatu crater rim Lodge FB Day 9: Karatu to Arusha then Airport for your Flight back Home. After a leisurely breakfast, you may choose from a selection of activities including a visit the Tanzanite Museum, shop at the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery, or experience the colorful Masai Market.
