Leh is nestled in the snowcapped Himalayas. It is one of favorite destinations in Northern India. Leh and Ladakh offer the most exciting different tours in an exotic region. Leh is quite accessible to the tourists, where you will reach up to a clear blue sky from the towering mountains. The rhythmic chant of Buddhist monks in an ancient monastery can be heard from here.
The oldest monastery of Lamayuru, Moonland, Alchi monastery, monasteries around Indus valley and places around Leh are the highlights of this package. Leh is where the escapades in Ladakh begin. Mountaineering, white water rafting and wildlife tours are main adventurous attractions. It is a hot favorite of the adventure enthusiasts. Lying at a lofty height of 7940 meters, Ladakh offers a combination of lofty mountains, enchanting valleys and beautiful lakes!
Day 1: Delhi to Leh. Arrival at Leh airport, to be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel for a Complete day of rest wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the Hotel. Lunch will be served at 2:00 PM, after lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. Overnight hotel.
Day 2: Leh to Lamayuru to Ule - Alchi (160 km). After breakfast drive to Lamayuru enroute visit Liker Monastery and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Check in Camp at Alchi or Ule and enjoy your hot Lunch. After lunch drive to visit the mesmerising Moon landscapes and the Lamayuru monastery (Oldest Monastery in Ladakh). Overnight Camp or Hotel.
Day 3: Alchi to Leh (70 km). After the breakfast drive to Leh enroute visit Alchi monastery, Basgo Palace and Hall of Fame. Arrive at Leh by afternoon. Hot Lunch at Hotel. After the free at your leisure. Overnight Hotel.
Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley (120 km). After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit by afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hunder Village. Overnight Hotel.
Day 5: Nubra Valley to Leh (120 km). After breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight Hotel.
Day 6: Leh to Pangong Lake (160 km). After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft (third Highest Motorable road in the world). Overnight Camp.
Day 7: Pangong Lake to Leh (160 km). After breakfast drive back to Leh, enroute visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight hotel.
Day 8: Leh to Delhi. 06:00 hrs. Transfer to airport and fly back to Delhi with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
