El Zonte has long been known as one of the most famous beaches in Central America for surfing, providing great waves for beginners, pros, and everyone in between. Here you can meet people from all over the world, practice your surf skills, and relax poolside with a cold drink and a delicious meal. Simply put, El Salvador is magic and enchantment.

Brief Itinerary:

Day 1: Antigua - El Salvador.

Day 2: El Salvador.

Day 3: El Salvador - Antigua.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Antigua Guatemala - El Salvador

We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning at 8:00 AM to begin our four hour drive towards the El Salvador coast, providing us beautiful views of the Pacific during the last hour of the trip. After we arrive at the hotel we will register and head out to the check the tide. Depending of your level of experience there are 3 different beaches in walking distance that provide great waves for all different levels of experience.

Day 2: Surf

Beginners We will provide you with everything you need: surf board, leash, surf shirt, etc. The instructors are bilingual, certificate method by ISA; and provide you with one hour of personalized lessons each day.

Intermediate We will provide you with the right board for you and depending on your skill level we will determine if you need an instructor to help you in the water with things such as how to read the waves and when you need to start paddling. Depending on the tides and scheduling we can have 2-3 of these sessions a day.

Advanced We will provide you with the board as well as information about the swell, tides, break points. We can surf in el Zonte and el Sunzal. The waves in el Zonte are coming from the right and breaking at the tip and El Sunzal is a classic right point break with long lines.

Day 3: Surf and heading back to Antigua

For our last day it will depend on the tides as to whether or not we can make one or two sessions before heading home. After one last delicious meal at 2:00 pm we will be heading back to Antigua, with an ETA of 6:00 pm.

How much money do I need? Average you will spend $90 U.S. for 3 day and 2 nights of meals and drinks. El Salvador uses US currency, so it is best to get dollars in Antigua, or exchange money at the border.

Age Requirement? If traveling with children we require that they are at least 6 years old.

Capacity Requirement? There is a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 10.
