Day 1: Hanoi Arrival. Arrival, pick up at airport and transfer to hotel downtown. After a change and rest, stroll down the city of 1000 years for a first sightseeing. A cyclo drive around Hoan kiem Lake and Hanoi's Old quarter followed by a welcome dinner at Quan An Ngon where you can choose the food yourself by looking at the small kitchens there. O/N in Hanoi. Day 2: Hanoi City tour. City tour of Hanoi with visit to Hochiminh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Literature Temple, Hoa lo Prison, Ethnology Museum, Water Puppet show. O/N in Hanoi. Includes: (D).
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay Cruise, overnight on boat. 1st day: Depart Hanoi to Ha Long Bay by road through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields (harvest time: 5th month and 10th month of Lunar New Year), water buffalos and everyday Vietnamese village life on both side of the highway No.18. 12.15 pm: Arrive in Ha Long city, board our traditional wooden junk boat, Huong Hai Junk, for an overnight journey.
Sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you begin your cruise through the bay. Feast on a delicious lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery. 7.30 pm: Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood on board. 9.00pm: Squid fishing or relax and chatting with your partner, friends, family. Overnight on Ha Long Bay aboard Huong Hai Junk. 2nd day: 7.00am: Sunrise breakfast with tea, coffee, fruit & cake. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 4: 8.30am Transfer by tender to the “Day Boat” and begin to cruise to some of Halong Bay’s more untouched locales (Three Peaches Beach, Doi Cave or Ba Ham lake, Van Gia fishing village). Exact locations depend on tide conditions. Enjoy a leisurely day of kayaking and swimming. A multi-course lunch will be served mid-day. Pack lightly; swimwear and set of dry clothes and there may be some walking through shallow water and on slippery rocks so appropriate shoes for this (you may bring the sandals provided in your cabins). 7.30pm: Enjoy your dinner on board. 9.00pm: Squid fishing or relax and chatting with your partner, friends, family. Overnight on Ha Long Bay aboard Huong Hai Junk. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 5: 7.00 am For early riser complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served. 8.00 am: Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to our Huong Hai Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc. 9.00 am: Arrange your luggage and do the check out onboard. 9.30 am: Enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through strange-shaped limestone rock formations. 11.30 am: Arrive back at Ha Long city for disembarkation where your driver waits to take you back to your Hanoi. Trip ends. Arrive back at Ha Long city for disembarkation where your driver waits to take you to Hanoi Airport to board the flight to Da nang. Drive to Hoian. O/N in Hoian. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 6: Hoian. A half day tour visit the world heritage of Hoian Old Town with museums, communal houses, ancient houses, pagodas & temples in multiple choices. A cultural show adds the exciting to the tour too. Afternoon and evening free for enjoying the town which lot of tailors, riverside cafe, restaurants in old houses. Hoian is still one of the most attractive tourist spots after a long long time. Almost everyone loves Hoian badly. Dinner at Tam Tam cafe with Hoian Specialties. O/N in Hoian. Includes: (B, D).
Day 7: Hoi An - Hué. Morning heading north of Hoi An is Hué, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. The scenic route passes through Da Nang before climbing over the spectacular pass of Hai Van and dropping down to the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co. Upon arrival, we take a boat trip on the Perfume River, stopping at the beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in the tranquil setting garden and lakes. Dinner at Temple restaurant with Hue's specialties. Overnight in Hué. Includes: (B, D).
Day 8: Hué - Ho Chi Minh. This morning before we board a flight south. Transfer to visit the incredible underground Cu chi tunnel which was the shelter of VC during war. An afternoon city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, includes the Nôtre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquerware factory, the bustling Chinatown and Giac Lam Pagoda. Dinner cruise on Saigon river. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh. Includes: (B, D).
Day 9: Saigon - Mekong. A full day excursion to the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a river cruise passing through floating market with colorful boats filled with fruits, rice, food, a floating market with fish-pond inside houses. Stop at Thoi son island and have lunch with honey wine in an orchard looking over the river, followed by a folk show by locals. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda and a coconut mill before back saigon. Day 10: Saigon - Siem Riep. Board a flight to Siem Reap, the gateway town to the monuments of Angkor. Arrive in Riep, Today we visit the highlight of any trip to Southeast Asia – the majestic Angkor Wat. This centuries-old monument is a stunning fusion of symmetry, spirituality and pure grandeur. Continue on to visit Angkor Thom and tour the monuments Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Built by Angkor’s greatest King, this fortified city was believed to hold up to 1 million people at its height. Dinner with Apsara show. O/N in Siem riep. Includes: (B, D).
Day 11: Siem Riep. This morning, we visit the most ethereal of the temples of Angkor, Ta Prohn. Partially enveloped by the surrounding jungle, the temple looks very much the same way most monuments did centuries ago when the first European explorers laid eyes on them. Continue on to visit the temples Ta Keo, Chau Say Tevoda and the wood and stone-carving school, Les Chantiers Ecole. O/N in Siem riep. Includes: (B).
Day 12: Siem Riep Departure. Airport transfer for your flight out. Includes: (B).
