Day 1: Hanoi Arrival. Arrival, pick up at airport and transfer to hotel downtown. After a change and rest, stroll down the city of 1000 years for a first sightseeing. A cyclo drive around Hoan kiem Lake and Hanoi's Old quarter followed by a welcome dinner. O/N in Hanoi. Includes: (D).
Day 2: Hanoi City tour. The small city of Hanoi is filled with broad, tree-lined boulevards that evoke the allure of Old Asia and its French heritage. City tour of Hanoi with visit to Hochiminh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Literature Temple, Hoa lo Prison, Ethnology Museum, Water Puppet show. O/N in Hanoi. Includes: (B, D).
Day 3: Hanoi - Halong. Transfer to Halong. Board our traditional wooden junk boat for an overnight journey. Sip on a refreshing welcome drink upon check in before you begin your cruise through the bay. Feast on a delicious lunch as you cruise among hundreds of islets (Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi – Fighting Cock islet, Dog islet, Finger islet, etc.) to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay and visit Sung Sot cave, one of the most imposing grottos of the Bay. Swim at Soi Sim beach or Titov beach or a short trek to the top of Titov mountain for a magnificent panorama scenery. Enjoy your dinner with fresh seafood on board. Squid fishing or relax and chatting with your partner, friends, family. Overnight on Ha Long Bay aboard. Includes: (B, D).
Day 4: Halong - Hanoi. For early risers complimentary tea, coffee, fruit and cake are served. 8.00 am: Visit Luon cave on small bamboo boat paddle by out crew staff and enjoy the quiet atmosphere enclosed by high islets and mountains. Be back to our Junk. Sail past rock formations such as Man’s Head islet, Tortoise islet, Butterfly cave, Lion islet, Bai Tho mountain, enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city, etc. Arrange your luggage and do the check out onboard at around 9.00 am. Enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through strange-shaped limestone rock formations. Arrive back at Ha Long city for disembarkation where your driver waits to take you to Hanoi. Day 5: Hanoi - Saigon. Morning flight to Saigon, upon arrival commence sightseeing of the city. One of Southeast Asia’s liveliest cities, Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, is Vietnam’s largest metropolis and its economic heartbeat. We visit Cholon, the Chinatown of Saigon, Thien Hau Pagoda dedicated to the goddess of the sea, Ben Thanh Markets, the Presidential Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Dinner while cruising on Saigon river. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 6: Saigon - Mekong. A full day excursion to the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a river cruise passing through floating market with colorful boats filled with fruits, rice, food, a floating market with fish-pond inside houses. Stop at Thoi son island and have lunch with honey wine in an orchard looking over the river, followed by a folk show by locals. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda and a coconut mill before back Saigon. Day 7: Saigon - Cu chi tunnel. This morning, we take an excursion to the famed Cu Chi Tunnels. Built by the Vietcong during the war, the tunnels were part of an underground network that provided a stronghold close to the city. After exploring part of the tunnels, which took decades to dig, back Saigon. Afternoon free for shopping or strolling around Saigon. Dinner & O/N in Saigon. Includes: (B, D).
Day 8: Saigon - Siem Riep. Morning free until board a flight to Siem Reap, the gateway town to the monuments of Angkor. Later this afternoon, we climb to the summit of Pre Rup temple to enjoy the spectacular views over the surrounding landscape and watch the sunset. O/ N in Siem Riep. Includes: (B, D).
Day 9: Siem Riep - Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom. Today we visit the highlight of any trip to Southeast Asia – the majestic Angkor Wat. This centuries-old monument is a stunning fusion of symmetry, spirituality and pure grandeur. Continue on to visit Angkor Thom and tour the monuments Bayon, Baphuon, the Terrace of Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. Built by Angkor’s greatest King, this fortified city was believed to hold up to 1 million people at its height. Dinner with Apsara show. Includes: (B, D).
Day 10: Siem Riep. This morning, we visit the most ethereal of the temples of Angkor, Ta Prohn. Partially enveloped by the surrounding jungle, the temple looks very much the same way most monuments did centuries ago when the first European explorers laid eyes on them. Continue on to visit the temples Ta Keo, Chau Say Tevoda and the wood and stone-carving school, Les Chantiers Ecole. Includes: (B, D).
Day 11: Siem Riep - Bantey Srey Temple - Tonle Sap Lake. Travel by car to Banteay Srey temple (30 km from Siem Reap), citadel of women. Continue to Kbal Spean, visit unique rock carving, called the river of 1000 lingas. Excursion by boat to visit the Tonle Sap Lake, fishing village and mangrove forest. O/N in Siem riep. Includes: (B, D).
Day 12: Siem Riep departure. Free at leisure enjoying Siem Riep or shopping till transfer to airport for your flight. Includes: (B).
