Day 1: We meet you at your accommodation early in the morning; set off heading to south western Uganda with a stop at Equator of Uganda for snaps and breakfast. After breakfast, drive through twisted and winding roads, and lake dotted countryside, before getting into the lower thorn and Savannah scrub lands of Lake Mburo National Park. The only National Park in Uganda where you can view Zebras.
We shall drive south and into the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes then Lake Bunyonyi, also known as “little Switzerland of Africa” due to the landscape and scenery that encompasses it, Lunch enroute arrive Lake Bunyonyi overland resort in the evening. where we get the chance to enjoy the sunset whilst looking out for otters and the many different types of bird life. Spending the night just next to the swampy area is an interesting moment to wake up with the Love songs from the birds found in this beautiful area.
Day 2: After a good breakfast, you will have opportunity to take a local dug out canoe trip in order to discover the many islands around lake Bunyonyi. These beautiful islands will bring to you Good view of at least all the crater lakes. You will have a chance to take a nature walk on one of the Island to appreciate the landscape of the area. After a memorable lunch, we take a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the drive will be about three hours to arrive at your accommodation late evening check in relaxation, you can take a simple walk in preparation for long walk in search of the Gorillas the next day.
Day 3: Wake up in the morning take good breakfast, get parked Lunch followed by a briefing with a ranger guide before setting off into the gorilla sanctuary. The rain forest landscape is steep and densely populated with trees (you need to be physically fit). The name of the park was driven from the nature of the forest (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park); the park is crossed with animal trails allowing access for tourists in search of the great giants.
The trek to find the earth’s greatest primates can take up to a full day, but the thrill of discovering this gentle giant in it’s own habitat is rated as one of Africa’s best wildlife watching opportunities. You will be allowed to spend one hour with the Gorillas. By the time you return to your accommodation the memories will be embedded in your mind forever. Meal plan: (FB). Thereafter you will have a simple walk to the Batwa community and the traditional healer these are the shortest people in Uganda (the pygmies). Return to your accommodation for relaxation, Supper and overnight. Meal plan: (FB).
Day 4: Set off in the morning after breakfast to Ishasha sector for the tree climbing lions. Reach at around 10:00am and go for a game drive as head to the ishasha wilderness camp. In the afternoon after lunch, we take an evening game in search for the tree climbing lions and other wild life. Later this evening we shall drive back to our accommodation for supper and overnight. Day 5: An early rise with the sun have a cup of coffee/tea with muffins, take the road heading for the morning GAME DRIVE through the Savannah vegetation which brings to you a memorable morning game viewing when all the animal are looking for what to eat before the sun gets very hot. You are expected to see Lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, Bush Backs, worth hogs, antelopes, etc. The sector has a beautiful natural vegetation and land-scape with over 650 bird species making it number one National Park with Bird life.
After 3-4 hours of game drive we shall return to our accommodation for your breakfast, will have some time to relax or go for swimming at Mweya Safari Lodge or seat in their beautiful lounge and view the park at its best. After lunch later this afternoon we take the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffalo will be in great abundance either at the waters edge, or alongside your boat! The boat will take three hours up to the famous Kazinga Channel Landing site. There are many bird species which can be seen among others include the King Fisher, Pelicans, African Fish Eagle to mention but a few the Boat will take around three hours. Meal plan: (FB).

We return to our accommodation set off for, the drive through the park will bring to you another Game drive to arrive in Kibale National Park in time for Supper. The Park is located 35km south of Fort portal town. Stay over night at nyinaburitwa resort which is well-built up and furnished in-between carter lakes.

Day 7: Drive to Kibale after breakfast in the morning, meet the ranger and take a forest walk while trekking within the forest, you are able to see different species of birds and butterflies found in the forest. The forest also hosts 100 chimpanzees of which 80 strong communities have been familiarized to tourist visits. There is a variety of monkeys including the acrobatic red Columbus, black, red and white Columbus and the handsome Hoist monkey.
All this takes you for an adventure. Set off taking Kyenjojo - Hoima - Masindi road and then finally to Murchison falls National Park to the great African rift valley with spectacular views of southern banks of Victoria Nile you find Nile Safari Paraa Lodge. In the evening, relax around in preparation for the next day’s activities, take an evening Game drive if time allows return to your accommodation for supper and overnight. Meal plan: (FB).
Day 8: Murchison Falls National Park. An early rise with the sun after taking a cup of Coffee or Tea in order to be on most of the best hours for Game viewing on the northern banks. Here we hope to find lions, leopard, elephants, buffalo, giraffe and many more of Africa’s big game. The game drive will take about 3-4 hours then return to the lodge for breakfast relaxation (swimming) as you wait for an early lunch to prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the river.
At 13:00 hrs, we will precede for the guided 3 hrs Boat Trip on the Victoria Nile upstream of the base of the falls. En-route we will see many hippos, crocodiles, water buck and a wide variety of birds like the unusual shoe bill stork. The boat stops about 50mtrs away from the base of the falls allowing ample time to get some wonderful photos of one of the most powerful flows of water in the world.
Take enchanting nature walk to the top of the falls where you see the Nile waters squeezing, AT The top of the falls, you get to experience the awesome site of the whole river getting compressed through 6 meters gap in the rocks before dropping 44 meters with a thunderous roar. It creates rainbows and plumes of spray giving opportunities for some great photographs and scenic viewing. After wards we return Paraa Safari Lodge for super and relaxing there overnight. Day 9: We set off heading for guided trek through the Budongo Forest Reserve in search of man’s closest relative the chimpanzee. The sounds of the chimps, birds and other creatures carry through the forest, so approaching and watching these creatures in their natural habitat is a fantastic wildlife viewing experience. After chimpanzee trekking, depart from the park and connect to Masindi town.
Continue with the journey to Nakasongola district and branch to Kitangala ranch where we have a reserve for introduced rhinos, (Ziwa rhino sanctuary). This privately owned reserve offers activities like the nature walks, game viewing for animals like donkeys, exotic breeds of cattle, rhinos and artificial. Then we continue with our journey to Jinja. Super and relaxing there overnight. Meal plan: (FB).
Day 10: An early rise with the sun after taking a cup of Coffee or Tea we proceed to the source of the Nile and here you will take a cruise to the point where the river originates from Lake Victoria. we can as well proceed to Bujagali falls for half day rafting on the Nile and after the activity; you are given some light meal. You can
as well go for quad biking along the Nile with All Terrain Adventures/horse back safaris so the choice is yours. After we will proceed to Entebbe airport with memories to last a lifetime. Meal plan: (HB).
