Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara game reserve arriving in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon proceed for a game drive. Return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 2: Masai Mara. Full day in Masai Mara. Masai Mara is renowned for its high animal concentration and abundance. Black-maned lions, elephants and buffalo can be seen. The reserve is essentially the northern extension of Tanzanias Serengeti National Park and is home to numerous plans game including wildebeest common zebra and the Masai giraffe as well as antelopes like Thompson's gazelle, hartebeest impala and Dik Dik among others. All meals and overnight at a Lodge/Camp. Day 3: Masai Mara. Pre-breakfast game drive in the Mara with an option nature walk or a visit to a nearby Masai village (Manyatta) in between the meal breaks. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge. (Masai village visit available at extra cost). Day 4: Masai Mara/Naivasha After breakfast leave for Lake Naivasha. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch visit Hells Gate National Park, the only park that you can walk within the wild animals without any hustle. Proceed to your Camp/Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 5: Lake Naivasha/Lake Nakuru. Leave after breakfast and drive to the home of millions of flamingos and the home of the white rhino and about 350 different species of birds. It is known as an Ornithological Paradise. Lunch, dinner and overnight at your Hotel/Lodge. Day 6: Bogoria - Baringo. After breakfast drive to Lake Bogoria. On arrival, take a walk along the shores of the lake. In this natural wonder, with thousands of flamingoes wading through the warm water and the geysers sending up jets of steam. Where the hot medicinal water springs abound. Then proceed to Lake Baringo for lunch. At the lake you will have the luxury to get up close to the crocodiles, hippos and wetland birds in the lake as you enjoy a boat ride exploration of the lake. Baringo is an ornithological paradise. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp. Day 7: Baringo – Samburu. After breakfast, leave for samburu via the Thompson falls. Lunch en-route arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at a Lodge/Camp. Day 8: Samburu. Early morning game drive, then breakfast. Mid morning at leisure then lunch, afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a Camp/Lodge. Day 9: Samburu – Mt. Kenya. After breakfast leave Samburu for Mt. Kenya (Nanyuki) arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, visit the Mau Mau caves where Kenyan freedom fighters hid from the British troops during the struggle for independence. Dinner and overnight at a Camp/Lodge. Day 10: Mount Kenya – Amboseli via Nairobi. After breakfast, drive south via the biggest open air market in east and central Africa (Karatina). Proceed to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch in one of the restaurants. Continue to Amboseli via Kenya/Tanzania border (Namanga) arriving in Amboseli late afternoon. An evening game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at a Camp/Lodge. Day 11: Amboseli. Early morning game rive before breakfast. After breakfast have a whole day game viewing. Optional: Masai village visit, nature walk, (at an extra cost). Return Camp/Lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 12: Amboseli - Tsavo west. After breakfast, drive via Chyulu hills to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive and a visit to Mzima springs source of dinking water for Mombasa. Return for dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp. Day 13: Tsavo west - Tsavo East. After breakfast, drive to Tsavo East which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous Man Eating Lions [during the building the Kenya - Uganda Railway. Lunch on arrival. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp. Day 14: Tsavo East Nairobi or Mombasa. After a breakfast, drive back to Nairobi on private basis. Beach extensions also available. Notes: Price Includes:
