Day 1: Home - Beijing. Depart for Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing. Arrive in Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Beijing. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and provide a full day tour including Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and Liulichang which has been well known since 17th century Qing Dynasty as the street selling old books, paintings, calligraphy and other arts. Whether you buy or not, it will be an interesting place to visit. In the evening, enjoy Peking Opera in Huguang Guild Hall where the best Peking Opera is performed. You will have dinner in the neighboring Chuwan Hall with excellent cuisine. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Beijing. Today your guide will take you to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb, and Sacred Way. Last stop is at the Beijing’s famous Acrobatic Show. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Beijing. Experience a ride on a tricycle in Hutong (the Old Beijing) and visit a
typical traditional Chinese home where you can learn how to make dumplings, enjoy lunch in the home. Visit Drum Tower (Drums were used for telling time in the morning and at dusk and also for music as early as 3rd century BC.) Then visit Yonghegong Lamasary, and Shichahai scenic and leisure area with three lakes surrounded by historic places, old style homes and courtyards, and many fine restaurants. This evening, you will have dinner at the famous Kaorouji BBQ Restaurant. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Beijing. Visit Temple of Heaven. Then enjoy shopping with assistance of your guide (we only assist with guide and transportation. You choose your shopping). If you re a golfer and would like to have a round, please let us know in advance, so that we may book it for you in one of the nicer clubs. (Green fee is not included) Enjoy an authentic Peking Duck Dinner. Enjoy exploring Wangfujing Street in the evening.
Day 7: Beijing - Shanghai. Visit Beijing Zoo to see Pandas, and fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a cruise on Huangpu River with scenes of old and super modern Shanghai, walk through Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, go up to the top of Jinmao Tower (Observation Deck) to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Shanghai, and finally visit Shintiandi (New World) the new super modern shopping and restaurant district where you can enjoy a fine Western dinner. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 8: Shanghai. Your guide will take you to Yuyuan Garden with time to explore Shanghai Old Street, New Shanghai Museum and shopping at Nanjing Street. Enjoy dinner at Locomotive Restaurant. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Shanghai. Today, you are taking a full day excursion to Suzhou. Visit Lingering Garden, Silk Factory, Panmen Gate, boat cruise on the Grand Canal. You will have time to explore markets and streets before returning to Shanghai. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Shanghai. Full day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Farewell dinner. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 11: Shanghai. You will be transferred to airport for your departure. Includes: (B).
