Day 1: Home - Beijing. Depart for Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing. Arrive in Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Beijing. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and provide a full day tour including Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and Liulichang which has been well known since 17th century Qing Dynasty as the street selling old books, paintings, calligraphy and other arts. Whether you buy or not, it will be an interesting place to visit. In the evening, enjoy Peking Opera in Huguang Guild Hall where the best Peking Opera is performed. You will have dinner in the neighboring Chuwan Hall with excellent cuisine. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Beijing. Today your guide will take you to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb, and Sacred Way. Last stop is at the Beijing’s famous Acrobatic Show. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Beijing. Experience a ride on a tricycle in Hutong (the Old Beijing) and visit a typical traditional Chinese home where you can learn how to make dumplings, enjoy lunch in the home. Visit Drum Tower (Drums were used for telling time in the morning and at dusk and also for music as early as 3rd century BC. Then visit Yonghegong Lamasary, and Shichahai scenic and leisure area with three lakes surrounded by historic places, old style homes and courtyards, and many fine restaurants. This evening, you will have dinner at the famous Kaorouji BBQ Restaurant. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Beijing. Visit Temple of Heaven. Then enjoy shopping with assistance of your guide (we only assist with guide and transportation. You choose your shopping). If you are a golfer and would like to have a round, please let us know in advance, so that we may book it for you in one of the nicer courses. Enjoy an authentic Peking Duck Dinner. Enjoy exploring Wangfujing Street in the evening.
Day 7: Beijing - Xian. Visit Beijing Zoo to see Pandas, and you will be escorted to the airport. And fly to Xian. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to the city. Visit the ancient City Wall perfectly preserved from Tang Dynasty of 8th century. If you know how to ride a bike, you can ride on the wall circling the entire wall or ride a part of it with your guide. Then drive to the Andingmen Gate which is the starting point of the Silk Road for a stop, and visit the Great Mosque, and the interesting Muslim Bazaar. Enjoy a la carte dinner to enjoy the famous Belt Noodle and other delicious Shaanxi dishes. Visit the lively Dongxinjie Night Street after dinner. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8: Xian. Visit Terra Cotta Warriors in the morning, and in the afternoon, visit Huaqing Hot Spring and Banpo Museum built at the site of the habitation of early man from Neolithic period discovered in 20th century, which was a matrilineal commune. Visit a farmer’s family and return to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy special Dumpling Banquet, and then enjoy Tang Dynasty Cultural Show. Includes: (B, (L), (D).
Day 9: Xian - Guilin. Enjoy a Taichi lesson in the hotel garden with a Master in the morning. Then visit Big Goose Pagoda, and Shaanxi Provincial Museum. In the afternoon, you will be escorted to airport and fly to Guilin. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Guilin - Yangshuo. Your guide will take you to Li River pier where you will get on a cruise boat. Enjoy the world famous scenery cruising down the river. Lunch is served on board. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, you will visit a Minority Village. Minority people have their own language (in addition to Chinese), their own costume, and different food and life style. It is interesting to see and learn how these minorities have been living in peace and harmony for many generations while keeping their unique cultures. Check in to your hotel. In the evening, weather permitting, you can enjoy the famous Minority Show “Impression Sanjie Liu” (optional). Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 11: Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai. After breakfast, drive to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave. After lunch, fly to Shanghai. You are greeted and escorted to your hotel in Shanghai. In the afternoon, you will take a cruise on Huangpu River enjoying the views of modern skyscrapers and the historic landmarks (you don’t just see the river. You will experience it). Stroll the famous Bund
Street along the river, and walk the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel under the river. Go up to the top of Jinmao Tower Observation Deck to admire the breathtaking view. And finally visit Shintiandi (New World). super modern shopping, entertainment and restaurant district where you can enjoy a variety of fine Western dining as well as Asian. Dinner is on your own. Day 12: Shanghai. Tour starts with a visit to Yuyuan Garden with interesting rock sculptures and a stroll along Shanghai Old Street exploring shops and tasting local goodies. Visit New Shanghai Museum which is truly special, and arrive in Nanjing Street, one of the best known shopping district in Shanghai. Enjoy spending time here, and you will be treated to a special dining experience at Locomotive Restaurant. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 13: Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai. Today you will drive out of Shanghai to Suzhou famous for its famous gardens recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage. Visit Lingering Garden, Panmen Gate, a famous historic landmark built originally in 6th century, boat ride on the Grand Canal, and the best Silk Factory for which Suzhou is also famous. Have fun wandering around the markets and streets around the canal with your guide. Drive back to Shanghai. Farewell dinner. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 14: Shanghai - Home. Breakfast at hotel. You will be escorted to airport for departure. Includes: (B).
