Day 1: Home - Beijing. Depart for Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing. Arrive in Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Beijing. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and provide a full day tour including Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and Liulichang which has been well known since 17th century Qing Dynasty as the street selling old books, paintings, calligraphy and other arts. Whether you buy or not, it will be an interesting place to visit. In the evening, enjoy Peking Opera in Huguang Guild Hall where the best Peking Opera is performed. You will have dinner in the neighboring Chuwan Hall with excellent cuisine. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4: Beijing. Today your guide will take you to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb, and Sacred Way. Last stop is at the Beijing’s famous Acrobatic Show. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5: Beijing. Experience a ride on a tricycle in Hutong (the Old Beijing) and visit a typical traditional Chinese home where you can learn how to make dumplings, enjoy lunch in the home. Visit Drum Tower (Drums were used for telling time in the morning and at dusk and also for music as early as 3rd century BC. Then visit Yonghegong Lamasary, and Shichhai scenic and leisure area with three lakes surrounded by historic places, old style homes and courtyards, and many fine restaurants. This evening, you will have dinner at the famous Kaorouji BBQ Restaurant. After dinner, have a stroll on Wangfujing Street. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Beijing - Xian. This morning, enjoy shopping with assistance of your guide (we only assist with guide and transportation. You choose your shopping). Or if you are a golfer and would like to have a round, please let us know in advance, so that we may book it for you in one of the nicer courses. In the afternoon, fly to Xian. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and escorted to your hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 7: Xian. Visit Terra Cotta Warriors in the morning, and in the afternoon, Visit farmers in the countryside, Great Mosque and Muslim Bazaar, and return to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy special Dumpling Banquet, and then enjoy Tang Dynasty Cultural Show. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 8: Xian - Luoyang. Enjoy a Taichi lesson in the hotel garden with a Master in the morning. Then visit Tang Dynasty City Wall (chance to ride bike on the wall), Big Goose Pagoda, and Shaanxi Provincial Museum. In the afternoon, you will be escorted to Xian railway station and take a high speed train to Luoyang (90 minutes). Upon arrival, you are greeted and transferred to your hotel. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Luoyang - Kaifeng. Full day tour will feature two very famous attractions: Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple well-known for its monks' martial arts tradition. At Shaolin Temple, you will see the monks’ practices and students' lessons. This evening, you will have a special dining experience, Water Banquet dinner, a famous and long known for its unique styles in this city. In the evening, you will be transferred to Kaifeng nearby. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Kaifeng. Full day tour will feature Xiangguo Monastgery, Dragon Pavilion, the Synagogue Complex of Jewish community which has settled here since Song Dynasty (10th Century). Enjoy a sumptuous Song Dynasty Banquet. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 11: Kaifeng - Anyang. After breakfast, drive to Anyang. Visit Yinxu, the ruins of the last capital of Shang Dynasty (1766 – 1050 BC). Scenic area of Youli, and the first state prison in China from Shang Dynasty. Overnight in Zhengzhou. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 12: Zhengzhou - Nanjing. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the railway station and take a high speed train to Nanjing. (4.5 hours). Upon arrival, ou will hav a tour of Nanjing City Wall and Zhonghua Gate. After dinner, enjoy a drink at Tequila Bar, a favorite of local foreign residents. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 13: Nanjing. Morning tour will feature Sun Yat Sen Mausoleum, Jiangsu Provincial Museum, and Gulou Drum Tower. Balance of the day is at leisure. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 14: Nanjing - Hangzhou. In the morning, you will take a high-speed train to Hangzhou. In the afternoon, enjoy a cruise on the beautiful West Lake and visit Lingyin Temple.
Day 15: Hangzhou. A special excursion to Shaoxing, a famous 2400 years old cultural city on water. Visit Mt. Huiji, East Lake, Jianghu Lake and the Giant Buddha Temple. In the afternoon, visit Tea Museum and explore the streets and shops. Or you have an option to play a round of golf at beautiful West Lake Golf Club (greens fee not included, advance booking is recommended).
Day 16: Hangzhou - Suzhou - Shanghai. Drive to Suzhou in the morning. Visit Lingering Garden. Lunch at the famous Songhelou (Pine & Crane Restaurant). Enjoy a cruise on the Grand Canal and visit Suzhou’s best Silk Factory. Continue to Shanghai. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 17: Shanghai. Start the day’s tour with a visit to Yu Garden, explore Shanghai Old Streets, visit the excellent New Shanghai Museum, the Bund, the Bund sightseeing Tunnel, Jinmao Tower (Observation Deck). Finally visit Shintiandi (New World) replete with high quality shopping, entertainment and numerous choice of fine Western and Asian cuisines. Dinner is on your own. Includes: (B), (L).
Day 18: Shanghai - Home. You will be transferred to airport for departure. Includes: (B).
