Our Best of Zimbabwe mammal safari seamlessly blends two of southern Africa’s most productive game areas with the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. In Hwange National Park, a haven for wildlife and one of the most highly rated reserves in Southern Africa, we will be based in an exclusive private concession that can be explored both on foot and by game drive vehicles.
A high density of plains game results in superb predator sightings including Lion, Leopard, African Wild Dog, Cheetah and Spotted Hyena, along with the smaller African Wild Cat, Serval, Honey Badger, Bat-eared Fox and African Civet. In Mana Pools, located in the heart of the Zambezi Valley, we will explore this reserve by canoe while camping on the banks of the Zambezi River! Tracking Lion on foot will no doubt be the highlight of this leg of our adventure. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Arrive Livingstone (Toka Leya Camp). Day 2: Livingstone (Toka Leya Camp).
