This Poland extension follows the Eastern Europe – Wildlife of Hungary & Romania tour. The extension takes us to the most famous national parks of the country, Bierbza and Biebrza National Park. Home to European Bison, Grey Wolf, Eurasian Lynx and Wild Cat, Bierbza National Park is the largest and last untouched lowland primeval forest in Central Europe. Located on the watershed of the Baltic and Black seas, this immense forest range consists of evergreens and broadleaved trees. It provides refuge to some remarkable animal life, including rare and fascinating mammals and approx 150 species of birds.
