Day 1: Arrive at the Lilongwe International Airport. Meet and greet. Transfer to the lodge. Stay here on dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Spend the afternoon on a tour of the city, including Lilongwe Nature Sanctuary and a local township. Day 2: After breakfast, depart Lilongwe at approx. 09H00. Continue to Mchinji (1&1/2 hr drive). Here we complete immigration formalities and continue to Mwami - (the Zambian border). From the border it is a short drive to Chipata-Zambia's Capital of the Eastern Province. Proceed on a dirt road to Luangwa Valley-Mfuwe sector. A picnic lunch is enjoyed en route and ETA at the camp is mid afternoon. On arrival and after checking in, there is time to relax around the bar, have a swim or we enjoy tea and coffee along the rivers edge then evening dinner. Day 3: After a light snack with tea and coffee, we depart for a morning drive at 06H00. All game drives are undertaken in open game viewing vehicles, to optimise your pleasure and experience. Drinks and snacks are taken for your enjoyment whilst in the park. Depending on game sightings, we return to the lodge at 11 for ascrumptious 'brunch'. An afternoon rest, swim, tea then we again head out for out for our afternoon/night drive at around 16H00. Returning to the lodge at 20H00. Then evening dinner. Day 4: After a more leisurely start to the morning and a full breakfast. We pack up and depart back to Lilongwe. From Lilongwe then will transfer you to the lake. Arrive at the Lake beach lodge in time for sun downers. Day 5: Relaxing at the lake. Swimming, water kayak, snorkerling and boat cruising. Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Day 6: After breakfast, we transfer you to Lilongwe in time for your return flight or onward journey. Notes: Price Includes:
