Tour Itinerary:
Sample tour on the East coast.
Day 1: Beppu to Saeki on the eastern coast, 80 km. Mostly following the coast, a good warm-up day. Stay at a traditional old sea-side ryokan in a fishing village called Turusaki.
Day 2: Saeki town to Nobeoka. 90 km. Still follow the coast but the road rises to commanding views accross the Pacific. Stay at Meinshoku accommodations on a small protected bay just north of Nobeoka city in Miyazaki prefecture.
Day 3: Nobeoka to Miyazaki city by train, because this part of the coast is not a good ride! From Miyazaki, we ride to Uchinoumi town south of the city. 60km day.
Day 4: Ride to Nichinan and leave the sea behind for a short spell, while. Our ride takes us over the 1000 ft pass to Miyakanojo, and a touch of civilization. 80 km.
Day 5: Miyakanojo to Kagoshima, via Sakurajima Volcano. From Kagoshima, many riders continue to the islands south, Yakushima, Amami or Okinawa. This can easliy be arranged, via ferry or airplane.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

- All meals (five or more days).
- All lodging, if 5 day, then 5 nights. And so on!
No voids.
- Includes in-country transfers, tips, taxes, entry fees, bike rental and luggage transports.
Does not include your beer and in-between snacks.
