Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport - Arusha. Upon arrival at the airport, after customs and migration formalities, meet and greet by our professional driver guide who will transfer you to Arusha for overnight stay at Mount Meru Game Lodge/Mountain Village Serena Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast only.
Day 2: Arusha - Arusha National Park - Arusha. After breakfast, you will be met by our office staff for short briefing of the safari then collect your lunch box and drive to Arusha National Park for full day game drive. In this park you will as well have a choice to do the canoe trip at extra cost. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha for evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Mount Meru Game Lodge/Mountain Village Serena Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast and dinner.
Day 3: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park. After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with lunch box to be served at the picnic site within the park. Manyara: Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, Hippo and others. This beautiful park with it’s lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, takes its name from the Maasai word for "euphorbia tirucalli", a bush which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle.
Elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and a variety of antelope inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippos. If you are lucky you may see the Manyara lions, well known for their tree climbing habits, lazily resting on the branches of an "Acacia tortilis" tree. The birdlife is also abundant, with flamingoes, pelicans, hornbills and plenty of forest species. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Safari Lodge/Kirurumu Tented Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch/picnic lunch box and dinner.
Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park - Lake Natron. After breakfast, morning game drives in the park thereafter drive to Lake Natron with lunch box to be served on the way for afternoon at leisure. Lake Natron: One of the most original landscapes in East Africa is the area around the Lake soda, home of the Maasai, which live here still in traditional way and are hardly influenced of the modern culture. It is the home for millions of birds, too, and therefore is interesting for bird watching because this landscape is so inaccessible, it did not need to be particularly protected, and it is under no protection of a National Park administration. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, picnic lunch box and dinner.
Day 5: Lake Natron. After breakfast, walking on the soda flats beside the Lake, see wildlife, trek to waterfalls at Engare Sero River, view or climb the volcano Oldoinyo Lengai and many sights on foot. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch/picnic lunch box and dinner.
Day 6: Lake Natron - Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, depart to Serengeti National Park with your picnic lunch box, on arrival you will enjoy game viewing en route to your camp. Dinner and overnight at Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, picnic lunch box and dinner.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, enjoy your morning and afternoon game drive in the park with picnic lunch box from the camp. Serengeti, is a Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.
Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. In the afternoon drive to Central Serengeti for evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch/picnic lunch box and dinner.
Day 8: Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, enjoy your another full day game drive in the park with the choice of hot lunch or picnic lunch box from the lodge. At 05:00am you can have an option to experience balloon safari over the wonderful plains of Serengeti at extra cost, breakfast to be served at the bush with the certificate received from the pilot then proceed with game drive as per the plan with your driver guide. Return to the lodge just before dusk for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch/picnic lunch box and dinner
Day 9: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After breakfast, depart from the lodge with your picnic lunch box for game drive en route to Ngorongoro. Upon arrival you will have a choice to visit Olduvai George where is the historical site whereby the skull of the first human being was found by Dr. Louis & Mary Leakey also you will have a choice to visit Masai Boma at extra cost, there after drive to your lodge for leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, picnic lunch box and dinner.
Day 10: Ngorongoro Crate. After breakfast, descend into the crater floor for a wonderful game viewing with your picnic lunch box to be served inside the crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your driver guide will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. Late afternoon ascend from the crater rim and drive to your for evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, picnic lunch box and dinner.
Day 11: Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Tarangire National Park. After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive followed by lunch at the camp. Tarangire: Tanzania's third largest National Park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. After lunch proceed with game drive in the park till dusk. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire River Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 12: Tarangire National PArk - Arusha - Zanzibar. Early game drive in the park, return to the camp for breakfast then drive to Arusha, on arrival you will have ample time to explore the city also to buy souvenirs, thereafter you will have early lunch at the recommended restaurant then you will be transferred to the airport to connect your onward flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to North Eastern Coast for afternoon leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast and dinner.
Days 13-14: North-Eastern Coast. After breakfast, relax and enjoy the beaches of Zanzibar. There is a wide range of water sport activities you can do, like snorkeling, scuba diving, boat trips and more. Dinner and overnight at Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast and dinner.
Day 15: North-Eastern Coast - Stone Town. After breakfast, morning at leisure, there after you will be transferred to stone town for leisure. Or for walking excursion around the area, which can be booked directly at the reception of the hotel. Overnight stay at Zanzibar Serena Hotel. Meal Plan: Bed and breakfast.
Day 16: Stone Town - Zanzibar Airport. After breakfast our representative will transfer you to Zanzibar Airport to connect your onward flight back home.
