How to find their traces in modern Warsaw? It indeed sounds like a daring experience but trust me, I will be your guide to help you discover the truth about lives of the Warsaw Jews. During 3 hour tour I will tell you about their history: their lives and the events which shaped their fate.
I will begin the tour with showing you where the remaining the actual Ghetto wall was. I will tell you the story of the well-known Jews who lived in pre-war Warsaw: Ludovic Zamenhof, Isaak B. Singer, Adam Czerniaków, Mordechaj Anielewicz just to mention a few. We will see the monument of Janusz Korczak, a doctor and writer, one of the numerous victims of the Holocaust. I will show you the only synagogue surviving until present time. We will use public transport to reach the northern part of the former Ghetto where we will see the monuments of the Ghetto Heroes, Umschlagplatz, the place where the famous bunquer at 18 Mila Street was situated and many more memorial places. On our return to the City Centre I will show you were the wooden bridge which connected the Little Ghetto (southern part) and the Big Ghetto (the northern part) used to be.
