Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Kampala – Kibale Forest Park Depart from Kampala after an early breakfast and head to Kibale Forest National Park. Make a stop over at the Nakaima cultural tree in Mubende, Kibale forest is the largest protected block of rain forest. Which has the highest number of primates in Africa such as Chimpanzees, Gray Cheeked Mangabay, Red Colobus monkey, Red tailed monkey etc. Relax in the evening and have dinner either at Ndali lodge a stunning location over looking a dramatic Crater Lake (high end luxurious accommodation), Rwenzori view Guest House. Approximate driving time is 6 – 7 hours. Day 2: Trekking in Kibale After breakfast, enter the forest in search for chimpanzees the experience is quiet exciting and adventurous. Expect to see other species of primates such as Baboons, Red colobus monkey, Black and white colobus monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Birds like sun birds, Turaco, pitas and other bird species, butter fly species etc., return late afternoon for relaxation or an option of visiting Bigodi swamp. Overnight at the lodge. Day 3: Kibale – Kampala After breakfast, return to Kampala and transfer to Entebbe International Airport depending on your flight departure time.
