Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Drive to Jinja where the route traverses vast tea and sugarcane plantations and through the Mabira Forest Reserve. Proceed to the Source of the Nile, the point at which the Nile starts its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea. Have Lunch. Visit the Bujagali Falls for sightseeing and photography where kayaking and white water rafting are popular activities. Dinner and overnight (FB). Day 2: Drive to eastern Uganda through the town of Mbale to view the Sipi Falls and lunch. Guided nature walk of the main and second falls. Sight seeing and photography. Dinner and overnight (FB). Day 3: After breakfast, we start the trek to follow the Kapkwata trail uphill, through a natural forest of high bamboo, heath and moorland to arrive at Piswa Camp. Dinner and overnight in the mountains (FB). Day 4: Hike up to the caldera lakes area where the Giant lobelia species are dominant. Evidence of former volcanic activity are hot springs, we visit the Suam gorge and Hunters cave. Dinner and overnight at Piswa camp (FB). Day 5: Ascend to 4321m Wagagai peak to view into the caldera. Proceed down past Jackson's summit and the Jackson's pool to Maude cave. Dinner and overnight at Maude camp (FB). Day 6: Descend on the Sasa River trail to Budadiri before proceeding to Mbale town by vehicle and onto Kampala. Dinner and overnight at hotel (FB). Day 7: Drive along the Entebbe road to visit the Ziika Forest a natural ecotourism and cultural site. Transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). Depending on your departure time, you may transfer directly to the airport to catch your flight or return to your hotel for an overnight (FB).
