Days 1-2: Spend two nights at an oceanview hotel in Sorrento. Leisurely walking tour of historic Sorrento followed by dinner at a local trattoria; half-day hike to Punta Campanella with lunch en route at an agriturismo. Days 3-4: Travel by ferry to the enchanting Isle of Capri, our home for two nights. Enjoy a hike to Monte San Costanzo, the highest point of the island, followed by a magnificent dinner under a canopy of lemon trees. On our full-day guided hike to Villa Jovis, Punta Matermania and finally back to Capri town, we will have lunch en route at a terraced restaurant with views of the emerald-green ocean below. Days 5-8: For three nights, we will stay at our 4-star hotel on the cliffs overlooking the Tyrrenhian Sea in Ravello. From here, we enjoy three guided walks/hikes: One from Ravello to Amalfi, followed by dinner and then a piano concert at the famous Villa Rufolo; the second on the unsurpassed "Path of the Gods"; and the last, the "Valley of the Watermills" hike, which ends in Amalfi. We have leisurely guided walking tours of Positano and Amalfi, as well. On Day 8, transfer from our hotel in Ravello to Naples Capodochino Airport for our return flights home.
