Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Kampala - Murchison Falls This morning, your driver guide picks you from your hotel or Airport for the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. We pass by the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for an hour or two experience with the Rhinos then proceed to Masindi for lunch. You will visit the top of the magnificent falls in the evening, this is where the world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Albertine Rift escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge |Red Chilli Rest camp (Full Board). Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park. Start the day with an early morning Game Drive on the Buligi, Albert or Queens tracks north of river Nile escorted with a ranger guide, view a variety of wild game such as Giraffe, Antelope species, Lion, Elephant and a variety of savannah woodland birds. At 14.00hrs after lunch, you go on a Nile cruise for more game at close quarters; this is a paradise for hippos and crocodiles. There are also a variety of birds like Herons, Kingfishers, Bee-eaters, Eagles and the Illusive Shoebill. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge| Red Chilli Rest Camp (Full Board). Day 3: Murchison Falls- Kibale National Park Half day drive from Murchison Falls via Hoima, through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms to Kibale National Park. Overnight at Ndali Safari Lodge | Kibale Forest Camp (Full board). Day 4: Chimp Tracking After breakfast, report to Kanyanchu Tourist centre where tourist activities begin and set out to track Chimpanzees in the forest. The National Park is a home to the endangered Chimpanzee and boosts of the highest concentrations of primates in Africa. Primate Species include the man' closest relatives, the Chimpanzee, the threatened Red Colobus monkey, Black-and-White Colobus, Blue monkey, Pottos, extra. After lunch, have an optional nature walk to the Bigodi Wetland. This is a community based activity that was set up to enable tourists give back to the community and yet enjoy the nature offered by the swamp like many colorful butterflies, birds and other plant species. Overnight at Ndali Safari Lodge | Kibale Forest Camp (Full board). Day 5: Kibale - Queen Elizabeth National Park After early breakfast, we will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you might see waterbucks, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. After lunch, enjoy the unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water's edge. The cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge | Simba Safari Camp (Full Board). Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park. The day begins early as we head for the mating ground of the Uganda kobs. We search for Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes and other wild animals in their natural habitat, before returning for lunch. After lunch, you will rest during the heat of the day, and in the evening a leisurely walk around the Mweya peninsular for Warthogs, Birds, Banded Mongoose extra will be taken. Overnight at Mweya Safari Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge | Simba Safari Camp (Full Board). Day 7: Queen Elizabeth-Kampala. After breakfast, get on your journey to Kampala or Entebbe.
