Mt Elgon stands at 4,321 meters, with stunning scenery of wooded slopes, caves, gorges, waterfalls and hot springs. Birds, Elephants, Leopards, Spotted Hyenas, Buffaloes, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, Duikers, tree hydrax, extra live here. By culture, the locals come out and perform all year round street carnivals referred to as “Kadodi” Circumcision dance only in even years. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: At 07:00hours, you will be picked up for your mountain Elgon Tour. The drive will be through Mabira forest and past vast sugar cane and tea plantations. On arrival, Check in, have lunch and there after relax as you wait to take a walk to the falls and the caves. Day 2: After breakfast, we will proceed for the Forest Exploration Center at Kapkwai, with packed lunch. you have the choice of trekking trails into Mt. Elgon or take any of the 1km, 3km and 7km trails. A lush mosaic of Afro-montane forest, grassland and moorland habitats make this park a highly rewarding destination for hikers and other natural history enthusiasts. Day 3: After breakfast depart Sipi falls, with a snack packed lunch for the way. Visit Bujjagali Falls, the well-known white water Rafting base before continuing to Kampala.
