The tour takes you for an adventure of Uganda's largest national park, Murchison Falls. The park covers 3,480sq km and situated between Masindi and Pakwach districts. The falls result from Africa’ longest and the World’ second longest river, forced through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley.
The park is dominated by the lush borassus grassland which attracts a variety of animals for example; Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, lots of Antelopes, Africa’s densest hippo concentration, big Crocodile populations and plenty of water and Savannah birds. Rabongo Forest, the famous primates’ home such as chimpanzees and other tropical rainforest creatures, is found here. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Kampala - Murchison Falls Our driver guide will pick you from your hotel at 08:00hrs and your journey to Uganda' biggest National Park, Murchison Falls will start. You will experience a perfect scenic view of Uganda as you are driven north-west via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and the famous Luwero Triangle. A stopover at Masindi for lunch then the drive to the top of the falls for a magnificent scenic view and photography. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge | Red Chilli Rest Camp (Full Board) Day 2: Game Viewing After breakfast, you will be taken for a game drive in the northern section of the park where you may see a variety of unique animals found in the African Savannah. You will get up-close and personal with the animals on a boat trip along the Nile after your lunch. 4,000 hippos are reported to be in this area, Nile crocodiles, a stunning bird life with the brightly coloured Kingfishers, Bishops, Bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks may be seen. Chances of seeing the illusive Shoebill are high here. Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge | Red Chilli Rest Camp (Full Board) Day 3: Kampala Before driving back to Kampala, you will be driven to Budongo Forest, a dense natural forest for a guided forest walk which may involve sight of a number of primates species and other forest creatures.
