Ledet (Christmas) falls on Tahesase29 Ethiopian calendars (January 7 Gregorian calendar). Ledet (Christmas) is celebrated after 43 days fasting known as Tsome Gahad (Advent), with a spectacular procession, which begins at 6 AM and lasts until 9 AM. After the mass service, people go home to break the fast with the meat of chicken or lamb or beef accompanied with injera and the traditional drinks (i.e. tella or tej).

Day 1: Be met at Bole international airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Fly to Bahirdar in the morning visit the Blue Nile Falls and in the after noon boat trip on Lake Tana visit Ura kidanemehert and Azu mariam churches over night hotel

Day 3: Drive to city of Gondar after check in to your hotel visit Fasil Castle and Debreberhan selassie churches over night hotel.

Day 4: Fly to city of Aksum visit the monolithic Aksum stelas, ruin palace of queen of Sheba and St. Mary of Zion over night hotel.

Day 5: Fly to Lalibela visit Nakutelab cave and the 11rock hewn churches, see the colorful eve celebration of Gena over night hotel.

Day 6: Horse ride in the morning to visit Asheten Mariam and after lunch visit Genete Mariam over night hotel.

Day 7: Fly to Addis depending up on your flight schedule short city tour and fly back home.
