Day 1, Saturday: Arrive Cairo. Arrive to Cairo airport. Our representative will meet you at the arrival hall and transfer you to your hotel. No meals. Day 2, Sunday: Cairo - Luxor. In the morning, we enjoy a guided tour with a local Egyptologist expert for the Magnificent Pyramids of Giza and the sphinx. Enjoy Lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the pyramids (Optional) before we continue with our guide to the famous one of a kind Egyptian Museum. After your day tour you will be transferred to Giza train station to take your sleeper train to Luxor. Includes: (B, D). Day 3, Monday: Luxor. On arrival to Luxor, you will be met by our representative at the train station who will arrange to transfer you to your Nile Cruise and assist you with your embarkation. In the afternoon, you will meet our local Egyptologist expert who will take you for a fantastic guided tour of Karnak temple, considered the greatest open air museum in the world. Later in the afternoon you will have the (Optional) to enjoy the amazing Sound and Light show at Karnak as well or have the opportunity to enjoy Luxor by night (Optional) on a horse drawn carriages around the oldest Luxor souks. Over night on board at Luxor. Includes: (B, L, D). Day 4, Tuesday: Luxor – Edfu. Early start to enjoy your guided tour at West bank of Luxor visiting the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. By lunch time we will start sailing to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu. Includes: (B, L, D). Day 5, Wednesday: Edfu – Kom Ombo – Aswan. Today we will visit the Edfu Temple, located in the west bank of Nile and dedicated to god Horus, the falcon god. Then we will start sailing towards Kom Ombo, visit the temple that was built in Ptolemaic Roman era for the worship of god Haroeris and Sobek, the crocodile god. Sail to Aswan and overnight. Includes: (B, L, D). Day 6, Thursday: Aswan. In the morning you will enjoy your guided tour to the Isis temple on the island of Philae followed by a visit to the Unfinished Oblesik in the heart of the ancient quarries in Aswan and top it all up with a visit to the High Dam on the Nile River. In the afternoon you will enjoy sailing on a local felucca around Elephantine Island. In the evening there will be an opportunity (Optional) to visit a Nubian village and enjoy a home made dinner with a Nubian family. Over night Aswan. Includes: (B, L, D). Day 7, Friday: Aswan – Cairo - (optional Abu Simbel). Disembark your Nile cruise or have the opportunity (Optional) to visit the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel on the shores of Lake Nasser. In the afternoon our representative will meet you to transfer you to Aswan train station to get your first class sleeping train back to Cairo. Includes: (B, D). Day 8, Saturday: Cairo. Arrive Cairo and transfer to our hotel. Free time in Cairo to enjoy your last minute shopping. Over night Cairo. Includes: (B). Day 9, Sunday: Cairo - Departure.
