Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival, Airport transfer. Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our member of staff and transfer to Entebbe town. Accomodation: Imperial Botanical Hotel Entebbe Meal Plan: Bed and Breakfast Transit Time: 5 min. Day 2: To Ssese Islands. Breakfast at leisure, then transfer to Nakiwogo on the shores of Lake Victoria where a scheduled ship will transfer you to the Ssese Islands in Lake Victoria. Arrive for an afternoon walk on the sandy beaches. In the evening your may have a self – guided Nature Walk the virgin forests in the vicinity of the hotel where there is abundant birdlife, monkeys and butterflies. Accomodation: Ssese Islands Beach Hotel Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch Transit Time: 3 hrs. Day 3: Boat Ride/Forest nature walk. In the morning take a boat ride on the lake and visit the many Islands like Bugaba or Bubembe. You may opt for a fishing trip (own cost) on the lake where it is possible to catch a 150-pound Nile Perch!!! Accommodation: Ssese Islands Beach Hotel. Meal Plan: B,L,D. Day 4: To Lake Mburo. Morning after breakfast, transfer to Bukakata in Masaka. Proceed on a good tarmac road to Lake Mburo National Park. In the evening, take a sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Camp. Meal Plan – FB. Accommodation: Mihingo Lodge or Rwonyo Bandas Meal Plan: B,L,D. Transit Time: 3 Hrs. Day 5: Game Drive, Boat Trip. After breakfast, take another game drive in this park which hosts Zebra, Impala, Topi, Cape buffalo and other Plains game. You may opt for a game walk with your ranger guide through a Bush walking experience into the Savannah grasslands stalking the unsuspecting Zebra and other wildlife at the famous salt lick. You may find herds of different species together licking the salty soil at this point. In the evening, take a boat ride on the Lake Mburo for another closer to nature encounter. Accomodation: Mihingo Lodge or Rwonyo Bandas Meal Plan: B,L,D Transit Time: Half Day Day 6: To Kampala. After breakfast, transfer to Kampala.
