Day 1, Sunday: Cairo. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. No meals. Day 2, Monday, Cairo. Morning guided tour to the Egyptian museum, Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to enjoy an (option)dinner Nile cruise that sail around Cairo by night for 2 hours or sound and light show at the pyramids area. Includes: (B). Day 3, Tuesday: Cairo - Alexandria. Full day guided tour to the Coptic Cairo, Citadel and Khan Khalily bazaars. This afternoon we travel through the Nile Delta to Alexandria on the Mediterranean. Over night Alexandria. Includes: (B). Day 4, Wednesday: Alexandria – Cairo - Aswan. Visit the National Museum, catacombs of Kom al Shuqafa and the Pompey’s Pillar. In the afternoon we will drive to Giza station where we will board the overnight sleeper train to Aswan. Includes: (B, D). Day 5, Thursday: Aswan. Arrive Aswan and transfer to your hotel. Later in the afternoon we take a boat ride to the Temple of Isis on Philae Island. Philae Sound and Light show (OPTION). Includes: (B). Day 6, Friday: Aswan Cruise. Early morning start to get our bus to Abu Simble (OPTION). By lunch time we board our 5 stars Nile cruise. Later we will enjoy a sunset felucca cruise around the beautiful islands of Aswan. Rest of the afternoon is free to explore the bazaars of Aswan. Over night Aswan. Includes: (B, L, D). Day 7, Saturday: Cruise. Free morning. By lunch time we will start sailing watching the world drift from our boat. There is always something to see, whether it is donkeys working in the fields or children playing in the water on the edge of the river. We stop to visit the riverside temple of Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu and over night. Includes: (B, L, D). Day 8, Sunday: Cruise. Continue sailing along the Nile to Luxor, stopping along the way to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Includes: (B, L, D). Day 9, Monday: Luxor. Rise early to visit the amazing tombs at the Valley of the Kings. We also visit Hatshepsut’s temple, the Workers’ Village and the amazing Colossi of Memnon before we return to Luxor. In the afternoon we take horse drawn carriages along the riverfront to the magnificent Karnak Temple, where we have a guided tour around the site. Later we will get our transfer to Luxor train station to get our first class sleeping train to Cairo. Includes: (B, D). Day 10, Tuesday: Luxor - Cairo. Arrive Cairo and transfer to our hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore Cairo, or enjoy the guided tour to Memphis and Saqqara. (OPTIONAL). Over night Cairo. Includes: (B). Day 11, Wednesday: Cairo - St. Catherine. This morning we will drive through the Suez Canal and enjoy the great scenery of Sinai Mountains to St Catherine, that’s where we spend the over night by the footsteps of Mt. Sinai. Includes: (B, D). Day 12, Thursday: St. Catherine - Dahab. We get up early to join pilgrims in climbing Mt Sinai for sunrise. Later in the afternoon we transfer to Dahab and over night. Includes: (B). Day 13, Friday: Dahab. Free day in Dahab, where you can enjoy Snorkeling or diving in the red sea. Includes: (B). Day 14, Saturday: Dahab - Cairo. Free morning. Later in the afternoon we transfer back to Cairo and over night. Includes: (B). Day 15, Sunday: Cairo. Tour ends after breakfast. Includes: (B).
