Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport and drive north stopping for lunch at the Trout Tree Restaurant in Nanyuki. Proceed onwards to Samburu reserve arriving in late afternoon. Game drive enroute to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 2: Samburu - Mount Kenya Safari Club Early morning game drive in the reserve. Breakfast and then depart for the Mt. Kenya area. Arrive at Sweetwaters camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the sanctuary including a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary. Proceed to Mount Kenya Safari Club for dinner and overnight. Please note: The Mt. Kenya Safari Club dress code in the evenings after 7.00 p.m is SMART CASUAL - Jeans are not permitted. Day 3: Mount Kenya Safari Club - Ark Buffet Breakfast and then drive to the Aberdares arriving at the base hotel in time for lunch. After lunch transfer in the lodge's vehicles to the Ark, with perfect opportunity to see the animals from the comfort of the lodge strategically built balconies. Dinner and overnight at the Ark. Note: Only a small overnight bag is required at the ARK. The rest of the luggage is stored at the Aberdare Country Club at no cost. Warm clothing is advisable as nights tend to be chilly. Day 4: Ark - Nairobi Breakfast at the lodge and then return to The Aberdares to collect the rest of your luggage. Drive back to Nairobi, arriving by lunchtime. Drop off at your hotel / airport.
