Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara We will shall depart for the highlights of your safari in the Maasai Mara. It is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Each year, Mara is the staging ground for the great migration, one of the awe-inspiring natural events. You will have two stops en route to visit the wash rooms. What to expect as you drive to Masai Mara is to see a nice country side you will also pass by large scale wheat farms and admire the nomadic Maasai people with their unique culture herding their life stock by the road side. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/lodge. Day 2: Maasai Mara An early wake up call for breakfast to be followed by a full day game drive in search of more wildlife and birds of the Mara. This absolute exploration will lead us all the way to the River of Life and Death, the Mara River while we sample various wildlife en route. Down by the river, we will see hippos and crocodiles basking lazily on the river banks. You have an opportunity to go for an optional extra guided nature trail walk. We will have a picnic lunch while we enjoy the cool atmosphere of riverbanks. After lunch we will drive appreciating more wildlife and sceneries on our way back to the camp/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3: Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru Breakfast at the camp then exit the park and head for Lake Naivasha.Arrive in time for lunch.You will then proceed to the Hells Gate National Park for an afternoon game viewing.Depart for L Nakuru National Park with an enroute game drive.Dinner and overnight at the lodge/Hotel. Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Amboseli Have a leisurely breakfast and then depart for Amboseli National Park. Arrive at the camp/lodge for lunch. After lunch you will proceed for an afternoon game drive at the park. Large concentrations of wildlife occur here in the dry season, making Amboseli a popular tourist destination. It is surrounded by 6 communally owned group ranches. Amboseli is famous for its big game and its great scenic beauty the landscape is dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. Amboseli has the largest herds of elephants and this makes it the centre of the study of elephants that is carried here. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge. Day 5: Amboseli - Tsavo East After breakfast at the Lodge/Camp you will then drive to Tsavo East.You will pass through the Yatta plateau that is about 290Km long and is the longest lava flows. Arrive in Tsavo East national park in time for lunch with afternoon game viewing, guided walks, rock climbing, bird watching.A game drive in search of the big five. Dinner and overnight at the Camp/Lodge. Day 6: Tsavo East - Mombasa Have an early morning game drive and return to the camp for breakfast. After lunch depart for Mombasa via Voi. Day 8: Mombasa Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean at leisure with optional activities. Day 9: Mombasa After breakfast we will have a city tour in the morning and then get back to the hotel/lodge for your lunch and a total beach relaxation.
