Day 1: Arrival day. On arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver/guide from our company, who will then transfer you to Kampala for overnight at either Serena Hotel, Common Wealth Country Resort (High end/luxurious accommodation), Grand Imperial Hotel, Royal Capital Palace Hotel (Medium class accommodation) or Fairway Hotel (low Budget accommodation).
Day 2: Kampala - Lake Mburo. After breakfast, depart from Kampala early morning and proceed to Lake Mburo having a stop over at the equator line for photos. The drive takes you through savanna grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns. Take a game drive on entering the park and expect to see Zebras, Buffalos, elephants, Warthogs, Impalas, Topis among others. Overnight at either Muhingo Lodge (high end luxurious accommodation), Mantana Tented Camp (medium Class accommodation), or (Rwonyo Camp Low budget) accommodation. Approximate driving time is 4 - 5 hours.
Day 3: Lake Mburo - Bwindi. After breakfast, take a 2 hours boat ride on Lake Mburo, watch out for Crocodiles, hippopotamus as well as birds. Depart from Lake Mburo for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arrive late evening. Bwindi is home for the rare mountain Gorillas, there over 360 mountain Gorillas and it is a bird watchers haven, it holds over 346 species of birds and contains 90% of all Albertine rift endemic species and other primates. Dinner and overnight at either Mantana Tented Camp (high end luxurious accommodation), Buhoma homestead (medium class accommodation) or Buhoma community camp (low Budget accommodation). Approximate driving time is 6 - 7 hours.
Day 4: Gorilla tracking. After breakfast and briefing from the guide, enter the forest in search for mountain Gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable forest is a home for the rare mountain Gorillas and about 650 individual gorillas left in the whole world half are Bwindi. Tracking may take 2 - 8 hours, depending on the location of the Gorillas. One may walk a short or long distance in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After tracking return to the Camp for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Bwindi - Queen Elizabeth National Park. Depart from Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a game drive in the Ishasha sector which is in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect to see the famous tree climbing lions that can be spotted on the large fig trees and other wild life such as Topis, Buffaloes and warthogs etc. Dinner and over night at either Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana Lodge (high end luxurious accommodation), Mweya Students Hostel (low budget accommodation). Approximate driving time is 5 - 6 hours.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park. Early morning game drive to Kasenyi area to look for the lion prides and other wildlife such as Uganda Kobs, Buffalos, Leopards, Hyenas, Elephants. Kasenyi area is refered to as the Kobs mating grounds and it in this place Lions target Kobs. Return to lodge for lunch break. In the afternoon take a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will have a chance of seeing the hippos huffing and spraying mere feet away from the boat, Buffalos lingering at the banks of the water, crocodiles and a variety of water birds species. Dinner and over night at the lodge.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth - Semuliki National Park. After breakfast, leave for Semuliki National Park having a brief stop at Amabere Ganyina Mwiru Caves in Fort Portal. The drive takes you through great East African rift valley and the hilly land scape. Semuliki is one of Africa's most ancient biodiversity forests. It is particularly noted for its varid bird population. Over night at Semuliki Safari Lodge. Approximate driving time is 4 - 5 hours.
Day 8: Semuliki National Park. After breakfast, take a jungle walk through the forest up to the meandering Semuliki River the only one of its type in East Africa. Jungle life in Semuliki is breath taking especially for birders, primates, butterfly and plant lovers as well as Sempaya Hot spring can be seen. Relax over a drink at the lodge, in the afternoon visit cultural Local Batwa (pigmies) people for entertainment. The Batwa people are hunters, gatherer and their way of living is so interesting. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 9: Semuliki - Kibale. After breakfast, leave for Kibale Forest National Park, driving through the great East African Rift Valley. Kibale forest is the largest protected block of rain forest which has the highest number of primates in Africa such as Chimpanzees, Gray Cheeked Mangabay, Red Colobus monkey, Red tailed monkey etc. Relax in the evening and have dinner at either Ndali lodge a stunning location over looking a dramatic Crater Lake (high end luxurious accommodation), Ruwenzori view guest house (medium end accommodation), Primate Lodge or Kanyanchu tourist centre (low budget accommodation). Approximate driving time is 4 - 5 hours.
Day 10: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest. After breakfast, enter the forest in search for chimpanzees the experience is quiet exciting and adventurous. Expect to see other species of primates such as Baboons, Red colobus monkey, Black and white colobus monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Birds like sun birds, Turaco, pitas and other bird species, butter fly species etc. return late afternoon for relaxation or an option of visiting bigodi swamp. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 11: Kibale - Murchison Falls. Depart from Kibale National Park and head to Murchison Falls. This is a long drive that takes you through the rift valley escarpments and the amazing green vegetation cover. Diner and overnight at either Paraa Safari Lodge (high end/ luxurious accommodation), Sambiya River Lodge (medium end classic accommodation), Nile safari Camp or Red Chili Rest Camp (Low budget accommodation). Approximate driving time is 8 - 9 hours.
Day 12: Murchison Falls. After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive following the Buligi track. This is the park's prime savanna game viewing area, where you will have chances of viewing the big 5, lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopard and others like Hyenas, Giraffes, Uganda Kobs, Jackson heart beast Birds, sight seeing and many interesting features.
In the afternoon go for a boat cruise on the Nile for 3-4 hours, cruise up to the bottom of the falls. Expect to see a variety of water bird species, such as the Egyptian goose, Fish eagle, white cormorants etc, the Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, water bucks and Elephants quenching the afternoon thirst. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 13: Murchison Falls - Kampala. After breakfast, return to Kampala via Masindi with a brief stop at the Ziwa Rhino farm to look at the white Rhinos. Uganda's Rhinos became extinct in early 1980's, after a period of civil un rest and heavy poaching. The farm has now been established to restore Rhino populations in Uganda's protected areas in the near future. Dinner and overnight at either Serena Hotel (High end/luxurious accommodation), Grand Imperial Hotel (Medium class accommodation), Fare way Hotel (low Budget accommodation).
Day 14: Departure day. After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe airport to later catch your flight back home depending on international flight departure time, safari ends.
