We are going to drive to the silver capital of Nizwa and visit the round tower fort built in 17the century, the famous silver souk and Friday cattle's auction. We then pass the UNESCO listed Bahla Fort and village famous for pottery, you enter Oman's finest castle Jabrin which was built atthe end of 17th century. Here we will find it's beautiful ceiling paintings and woodcarving.
We then drive to Al Hoota Cave located at the foot of Jabal Shams. The cave's unique beauty attracts tourists from all over the world. First opened to public visits in Nov 2006 the Cave is now known as one of the main highlights in the Sultanat of Oman. Safe walking pathways have been built to add a magical touch to the unique natural formations in the cave. The cave, which is traversed by an underground river, is very long. You need to walk more than 5km in order to complete it. The stalagmites and stalactites dazzle the imagination with extraordinary forms and shapes. Once we drive back to Muscat, you enjoy a walk through the date's plantation in Birkat Al Muaz, an old village on the foot of Jebel Al Akhdar. Member discount: Notes: Price Includes:
