DIY Guide has been created for those who are interested in local attractions, history of the city, but also keen to hear some of the fascinating legends and stories. The audio-guide was prepared by historians and experienced tour guides. It encompasses 87 points scattered around three districts: the Old Town, Kazimierz and Podgorze.
The itinerary you wish to follow when visiting the city, together with breaks and meals, is entirely up to you. When renting an audio-guide, the visitor is given: an iPod NANO, a charger, a tourist package including a map with a list of tourist attractions and recommended sights (the numbers on the list refer to recording numbers), a set of disposable headphones. How it works: It is very simple: 1. On the map, select a place/monument that interests you; 2. Select the number of a section on the iPod corresponding to the number from the map and listen to the description; 3. In order to see other attractions, proceed as in section 1 and 2. You can plan your own tour starting and finishing at the location which is most convenient for you. You decide what is interesting and when you want to take a break for a cup of coffee or meal.
