Day 1: Arriving date. We will pick you up at Porto airporto , and make a 30km journey to Viana do Castelo, where you will stay the next 2 days. At night we have a dinner in to taste Portuguese food and to know the rest of the group. This is when we speak about your holidays with Ponto Cardeal. Day 2: We will pick you up at the hotel (if that’s the case) at around 9:30, then we go to Monte Santa Luzia, for the first hike. Tour Details: - Hike: 10.88km - Elevation Time: 5 to 6 hours - Round route: 12:30h we do a picnic (during the walk) 14h:00 continuing the hike 16:00h finish hike and return to the hotel, for refreshing, rest of the evening free 20:00h - diner in my place (relax and talk about the day, sharing emotions). Day 3: 9:30 – going out from the hotel to the hike place 10:00- starting hike Hike: Viana do Castelo to Ponte de lima via Ecovia ( river side hike) Distance: aprox 26 km Elevation: 13:00 - picnic durin the hike, time for a swimming on the river (optional) 15:00 - continue hike until Ponte de Lima 18:00 - arriving in Ponte de Lima, getting around the oldest village in Portugal 20:00 - dine in Ponte de lima Return the hotel, packing for tomorrow. Day 4: 10:00 – trip to VISEU in Beira Baixa Trip plan: 220km by car We will stop several times to enjoy the views Once we arrive we will have a light lunch at my home on the balcony with view for the small village. Rest of the day off. Dinner in my place on my with typical products. Day 5: 9:30 - first hike in Beira baixa Hike: between villages Distance: 4.28 km. This route is to know 3 villages et can extend if we have time. 13:00 - barbecue at my place Rest of the day we will prepare the dinner, we are going to make a cooking workshop Workshop - Working with wood hoven, traditional food 20:00 - dinner. Day 6: 9:30 - we leave for our last rout Rout river Dão Distance: 11.73km Elevation Time: 5 hours 13:00 - picnic by the river 16:00 - return to the hotel 20:00 - last dinner in group.
