Tour Itinerary:
Day 1, Sunday: Eilat – Israel's beach bungalow. IDF Air Force Museum: Start off the day with a trip to Be’er Sheva, where you will learn the history of Israel’s superior Air Force. You’ll get a chance to view actual airplanes, displays, and the history of the modern Israeli Air Force, as well as audio-visual presentations that are engaging for both children and adults! Camel Riding & Bedouin Hospitality Experience: Hop on and go for a thrilling ride on a camel in the desert, just like in the days of old. You’ll also visit a unique and authentic Bedouin tent, and experience Bedouin hospitality firsthand as you enjoy a light, homemade lunch. Ben Gurion Hut: Get an insider’s look at how the first Prime Minister of Israel lived when you visit his preserved home. This hut is now a monument to the first leader of Israel, his life on Kibbutz Sde Boker, and his extraordinary relationship with the Negev, which he wished to cultivate and settle. Ramon Crater: Enjoy spectacular views of the desert and witness this unique geological phenomenon. Delve into the bio dome museum, exploring the wildlife that has adapted to this desert region. Be sure not to miss out on the Bird Balcony where you can watch the birds soar below you! Overnight: Prima Music Hotel, Eilat. Day 2, Monday: Free day in Eilat or a day in Petra (Optional). Optional Tour to Petra- the Lost Nabatean City: Enjoy a trip to one of the wonders of the world! Explore the astonishing rose-red city of Petra which was built by the Nabateans, an early Arab tribe. Famous for its huge monuments, you’ll be able to see the Treasury, Royal Tombs, the Court, Roman Theater, Roman Street, Qassier Rl-Bint (Palace of Pharaoh’s daughter) and many other smaller monuments which fascinate visitors. Enjoy lunch at a lovely restaurant, followed by a drive back to the border. Cross back to Eilat for your evening stay. Overnight: Prima Music Hotel, Eilat. Day 3, Tuesday: Sea Life and Geological Wonders. The Underwater Observation Marine Park: Get up close and personal with Red Sea aquatic life at this interactive observation park. View spectacular corals in their own environment, and be sure to check out the gigantic shark tank. Take it one step further and get down into the water to observe exotic fish in their own habitat! Timna National Park: Venture into this geological wonderland! Enjoy a multi-media presentation, or choose from one of the several hiking routes. Whichever path you choose, make sure you visit the star of the park – King Solomon’s Pillars. These towering sandstones are so perfectly formed that they almost look man-made. Tour ends in Tel Aviv.
