Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Delhi. Asssistance upon arrival transfer to Hotel. Overnight Stay at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi. Morning after having breakfast full day city tour. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3: Delhi/Kathmandu. 9W7055 12:00/13:45 Hrs. Morning departure tarnsfer to airport to Board the Flight for Kathmandu. Upon arrival transfger to Hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Breakfast at the hotel. Whole day free. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Drive from Kathmandu to Nyalam (3750m), 153KM (6-7 hrs). Journey begins at 5:30 am after having Breakfast in hotel of packed breakfast provide d on the way. The road follows the river valleys of the Sunkosi and Bhotakosi rivers, passing through green mountains and cliffs. By the afternoon we get to the Tibetan boarder. Depending on the road conditions, we may stay in Zhangmu. If road conditions permit, we will continue 30km to Nyalam.

Day 6: Rest Day for acclimatization. A leisure day gives us a chance to relax and acclimatize at the high altitude. The day group will be taken for 3-4 hrs short trekking around Nyalam as a preparation for the Kailash Yatra.

Day 7: Drive from Nyalam to Saga (4,600M), 240KM (6-7 hrs). The road climbs up to the, La Lung (5124m) then drops down before heading western part of Tibet. Road to east goes to Lhasa, capital city of Tibet. The driving is difficult, but the stunning views of the Himalayas and particularly Shisha Pangma (8012m) more than make up for the rough travel. By late afternoon we will cross the Bhramaputra River and will be reached to Saga for shelter

Day 8: Drive from Saga to Paryang (4750M), 255KM (6 - 7 hrs). Our jeep passes through the gigantic valleys following the various rivers through the eye-catching view of grazing lands of yaks and sheep and Himalayan goat (Chyangra). The landscape is highlighted by snow capped peaks rising out of the distant sand dunes.

Day 9: Drive from Paryang to Lake Manasarovar (4560m) 250KM (6 hrs). Beyond Prayang, there are several river crossings to negotiate before we see our first view of Mt. Kailash from Chaktsalgang Pass. We then arrive at the beautiful Lake Manasarovar, then we can make round the Lake Manasarovar by Jeep, just 30km south of Mt Kailash. It is separated from another lake, Rakshas Tal, by a narrow strip of land and the two lakes are linked by a small channel. On the rare occasions when water flows in this channel, it is said to be a good sign for the Tibetan people.

Day 10: Drive from Manasarovar to Darchen(4600m) 40KM (2hrs). Morning Puja near the Lake Manasarovar and late afternoon Leaving the lake, we drive for about 40km towards Mt Kailash and Darchen. This is the starting point for our kora, the 53km trek around the mountain.

Day 11: Drive from Darchen to Darboche and trek to DIirapuk((4860M) 20KM (5-6 hrs). We drive further to Darboche(13 km) and start our Kora(Parikrama) today and walk up the Lha Chu valley through beautiful green meadows and streams with Mt. Kailash towering above us. We follow the river which enters a narrow canyon with high, steep cliffs and spectacular waterfalls. Continuing up the valley, the north face of Kailash comes into view before we reach the 13th.century monastery at Dirapuk.

Day 12: Trek from Dirapuk to Zutulpuk(4790m) (9-10 hrs) Trek. Climb through the moraine to a meadow at 5210m. and then past rock cairns to emerge at DOLMA LA at 5630 m. Descend via Gaurikunda (lake) to the La CHUKKIR valley at 5150m. Where you should look out for the foot prints which, pilgrims believe, belonged to the LORD BUDDHA. Descend further along a long & gentle path to ZUTUL PUK COMPA (4790 m), where there is a cave in which the saint MILAREPA is said to have meditated.

Day 13: Trek from Zutulpuk to Zongdo and drive to Darchen and then Lake Manasarovar (4560M)(7-8 hrs)
On the final day of the kora we cross several streams, and follow an impressive gorge. Along the way we are once again treated to magnificent views of Kailash. We then enter the Bharka plain and it's about an hour's walk through this desert-like landscape to Darchen. Then continue drive to Lake Manasarovar.

Day 14: Drive from Manasarovar to Drongpa (4750M) 330KM (6 - 7 hrs). After breakfast we start drive back towards the Drongpa.

Day 15: Drive from Drongpa to Nyalam (3750M) 390KM (6-7 hrs). Scenic drive through the Tibetan countryside past PAIKU TSO LAKE & small village plus LALUNG PASS & 5050 M)from where one can enjoy lifetime view of MT. Xishapagma & Mt. Cho Oyu (weather permitting) and then descend the plateau through the winding.

Day 16: Drive from Nyalam to Zhangmu (2300m) Kathmandu (6-7 hrs). Scenic drive descending the Tibetan plateau with fascinating views of formation of the Tibetan Plateau with cascades & canyons – at Zhangmu (border town of China Tibet) and TATO PANI (Nepalese border town), undergo necessary border formalities at Chinese/Nepali immigrations – scenic drive to Kathmandu through the lush green landscape of Nepal – Transfer to your hotel.

Day 17: Departure/Delhi. 9W261 15:45/17:10 Hrs. Breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast transfer from Hotel to airport to connect flight to delhi. Use transit for onwards journey.
