Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 is a fabulous introduction to the Scottish landscape, exploring the mountains, glens lochs and rivers or Argyll Forest Park & beautiful Loch Lomond. Day 2 takes in the wonderful lochside village of Inveraray and its famous Castle, a visit to Oban, Gateway to the Isles, and an incredible archaeological treat to see Kilmartin Glen, often referred to as the birthplace of Scotland. Day 3 starts out with the ferry over to the Island of Arran, known as "Scotland in miniature" because its varied landscape reflects every aspect of the Scottish landscape. A visit to Arran Heritage Museum is fascinating with the opportunity to also take in 13th century Brodick Castle and Country Park. Day 4 requires a degree of stamina to visit the National Wallace Monument commemorating Scotlands great hero William Wallace; the views from the top are stunning and worth the climb. Stirling Castle is the next stop for a full tour to take in the castles' long and turbulent history. Day 5: On the way to Edinburgh we visit Rosslyn Chapel made famous by Dan Brown's book The Da Vinci Code before making our way to the spectacular Edinburgh Castle. A fitting end to the day is a walk down the Royal Mile, with its charming mediaeval architecture and the opportunity to do some last minute speciality shopping. Notes: The more people who are in your booking party, the lower the price per person per day will be. Please also note this is a guide price only. The final price will depend on the customised elements of the tour. We will provide you with an accurate quote for price once we have your exact requirements.
