Day 1: Arrival to the High Tatras. Meeting in Krakow, arrival to the Tatras through the picturesque Polish highlands – “Podhale”. Day 2: The most picturesque mountain hut in the Tatras. “Warm up” hiking to the pass of Kopske sedlo (1.725 m), White lake and mountain hut by the Green lake. Day 3: Around the second highest peak of the High Tatras. Morning climb of Marmot peak (2.037 m) – great view of the White Tatras, hiking below Lomnicky peak (2.633 m). Day 4: Priecne sedlo – via ferrata for beginners. Two valleys, two traditional mountain huts and steep pass (2.352 m) secured by metal chains. Day 5: Easy day - Dunajec river raft trip. Rafting tour through the Dunajec river gorge on wooden rafts. Day 6: Scenic Grand Traverse hike. Comfortable hiking above the timberline, fabulous views of the highest peaks (Mt. Gerlach, 2.656 m) and several glacial lakes. Day 7: Rysy – V.I.P Peak. The highest peak of Poland visited by Madame Curie, comrade Lenin and Pope John Paul II. Day 8: Departure for Krakow.
