Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to the High Tatras. Meeting in Krakow, arrival to the Tatras through the picturesque Polish highlands – “Podhale”. Day 2: Hiking in the Low Tatras. Second highest peak of the Low Tatras – Chopok (2.024 m), comfortable hiking along the wide grassy ridge. Day 3: Between the High Tatras and White Tatras. Hiking to the pass of Kopske sedlo (1.725 m), wild forests and green meadows below the steep dolomite cliffs of the White Tatras. Day 4: High Tatras mountain passes. The most scenic part of High Tatra “Haute route” crossing twice the main ridge. Option to ascend Vychodna Vysoka (2.429 m) – peak with a panoramic view. Day 5: Pieniny – the smallest national park in Slovakia. Easy day – on wooden rafts through the Dunajec river gorge along the ancient amber road. Day 6: The highest peak of Poland – Rysy. Ascent of Mt. Rysy (2.499 m) – great view of both sides of Tatras (Polish and Slovak one). Day 7: Slovak Paradise – Sucha Bela gorge. Hiking along mountain streams and waterfalls, trail secured by wooden and iron vertical ladders. Day 8: Hiking in the Western Tatras – second highest range in the Carpathians. Crossing the Western Tatras from south to north, ascent of Placlive peak (2.125 m). Day 9: Main ridge of Mala Fatra. Hiking through flowering alpine meadows of Mala Fatra, ascent of Velky Rozsutec (1.610 m) – dominant peak of this range, views of Western, Low and High Tatras. Day 10: Departure for Krakow. After breakfast departure for Krakow, drive through picturesque Orava region with the mighty Orava castle and traditional wooden architecture. Notes: Price Includes:
