Monday - Orientation and Speed Boats
Your adventure begins with lunch and an orientation by your group's personal adventure guide, and then you depart for the San Diego harbor to drive a Speed Boat! After your brief instruction on how to drive a boat, you and a partner will fly across the water, slowing to get up close and personal with the local California sea lions, submarines, historic ships, and more. A professionally trained guide leads your maritime adventure by providing you with insider history and instructions through an on-board radio system. Between the sites, the speed, and the banked S-turns, this is one of the most thrilling ways to check out the bay! Then, the night is yours to explore the theaters, clubs, malls and bars of Southern California, or simply relax back at the hotel. Tuesday - Jet Packs, High Ropes, and Zip Lines On day two, we travel north along the ocean to the University of California, Irvine's High Ropes Course. The two-story, 360-foot long high ropes course is designed specifically to allow groups to participate at the same time, making it a fun and challenging teambuilding experience. The true highlight, however, comes from exiting the course via the dual 120-foot zip lines! Next, we head over to Newport Bay for Jet Pack Flights. After classroom and in-person instructional lessons, strap in and learn to soar above the Newport harbor at heights up to 30-feet powered by nothing but water! A voice activated radio helmet also keeps you in constant contact with two dedicated flight instructors, who help ensure your safety. Jet packs uniquely provide thrills, freedom of movement, and stability which all add up to a truly unbelievable adventure! Wednesday - StandUp Paddle Boarding & Trapeze Day three starts in Coronado, where you will hit the water in style as you try the your hand at Standup Paddle Boarding. This challenging yet peaceful adventure is an amazing way to cruise amongst the sea life with a wonderful view of Coronado island and downtown. Afterwards, we go to Del Mar, where you will try your hand at the high Trapeze. Swing into the air like the circus professionals, learning to takeoff, complete tricks, and land safely in the circus net. The trapeze is a unique thrill for people of all ages! Thursday - Offroad Desert Exploration Thursday takes us away from the coast towards some of the most beautiful scenery in all of California, that many locals never even find! After passing through the gorgeous eastern mountains, we will transfer to military-style vehicles for Offroad Desert Exploration, where you will find remote and breathtaking views of the desert. Of course, this trip will include some rugged off-road driving, a bit of desert hiking, lots of water, lunch in the desert, and some truly amazing scenery. This is a whole new side to Southern California, and for the true adventurer is not to be missed! Friday - Fly a Sailplane On the final day of your vacation, we travel out to Warner Springs where you will get a chance to ride, and FLY, a Sailplane! After ground instruction, your FAA commercial pilot will take you several thousand feet above the mountains where you can experience spectacular views spanning from Mexico to Los Angeles on a clear day. After pulling the tow cord, feel the rush of taking the controls to do some flying yourself (if you so choose), no experience required! Or you can let your pilot take you soaring over the mountains and valleys below! Gliders are the perfect hands-on, exciting way to end your once-in-a-lifetime adventure! The Extras!
