Your Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Copenhagen. Arrive Copenhagen Airport. Transfer to hotel in connection with individual flight arrivals. Dinner and accommodation at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel. (For tours starting on June 17 and July 15, dinner and accommodation will be at Radisson SAS Royal Hotel.)

Day 2: Copenhagen. The day starts with a 3 hour guided tour of the city. Famous sights include the Royal Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace, Gefion Fountain, Nyhavn, and of course the famous Little Mermaid. Afternoon free for exploring this fairytale city. In the evening you will be taken to dinner at the Tivoli Gardens. Accommodation at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel. (For tours starting on June 17 and July 15, dinner and accommodation will be at Radisson SAS Royal Hotel.)

Day 3: Copenhagen-Oslo. Morning free in Copenhagen. Possibility to visit the Carlsberg Glyptothek or the popular pedestrian shopping street Strøget. Afternoon transfer by coach from hotel to DFDS Seaways terminal for your overnight cruise to Oslo, departing at 5.00 pm. Enjoy your first Scandinavian smörgåsbord dinner as you cruise gently up the Kattegat. Accommodation in 2-berth outside cabins with shower/WC.

Day 4: Oslo. Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast as you cruise along the enchanting Oslo Fjord. Arrival in Oslo at 9:00 am, followed by 3 hour guided tour of the Norwegian capital. You will visit the world-famous Viking Ships, the Polar exploration ship Fram, and the impressive Vigeland Sculpture Park followed by an excursion to Holmenkollen for a birds-eye view of the city and fjord far below. Dinner and accommodation at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel ideally situated close to the Karl Johan shopping boulevard.

Day 5: Oslo. Day free in Oslo. The bustling Aker Brygge Harbour, the Akershus Fortress, and other popular attractions are all within walking distance of your hotel. Your tour escort will assist you in planning your day. Dinner and accommodation at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel.

Day 6: Oslo-Hardanger Fjord-Bergen. After breakfast departure from Oslo, driving to the mountain resort of Geilo for a delicious buffet lunch at Bardøla Mountain Hotel. The tour continues across the wild Hardanger Mountain Plateau, stopping at Fossli to admire Norway's highest waterfall, Vøringsfoss, with a vertical drop of 180 m. Descend to the lovely Hardanger Fjord. Short ferry crossing, before continuing via Voss and Dale to Bergen, capital of Western Norway and gateway to the fjords. Dinner and accommodation at Clarion Hotel Admiral, ideally located on Bergen's central harbor.

Day 7: Bergen-Voss-Balestrand. Morning 3 hour guided tour of Bergen, including a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the ancient Maria Church, Hanseatic Quarter, old Bryggen Harbour and other famous sights. You will also experience a ride on the funicular railway to Mt. Fløien for breathtaking views of the city and fjord far below. Lunch at Bryggeloftet Restaurant close to the harbor. After lunch departure to the town of Voss with stop at Tvindefoss Waterfall, believed to be the source of eternal youth. Continue across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes for the short ferry crossing to Balestrand. Dinner and accommodation at Kvikne's Hotel, one of Norway's finest fjord hotels.

Day 8: Balestrand. The day starts with a traditional Norwegian buffet breakfast in the hotel's elegant dining room. After breakfast departure by coach for the short drive to Slinde where you board the M/S Lady Elisabeth for a 2 hour cruise on the Sogne Fjord, the longest and deepest fjord in the world. Cruise through the narrow and winding Naeroy Fjord and disembark at the village of Gudvangen. Lunch in Gudvangen, then by coach to Stalheim with breathtaking views of mountain peaks and Stalheim Canyon. Continue to the villages of Flam and Aurland, pass through the new Laerdals tunnel towards Sogndal. Drive the north shore of Sogne Fjord and cross by ferry from Hella to Dragsvik, arriving back in Balestrand in the late afternoon. Dinner and accommodation at Kvikne's Hotel.

Day 9: Balestrand-Geiranger Fjord. Departure from your hotel on a one hour fjord cruise to Fjærland. Continue by coach along the scenic route passing under the Jostedal Glacier, the largest in Europe to the village of Skei. Descend to the beautiful Nord Fjord making a detour at Olden to visit the famous Briksdal Glacier. The journey up to the glacier will be made in open cars to give you the best view. A typical Norwegian lunch is served in sight of the glacier. During the afternoon the tour continues via Loen and Stryn to the picturesque village of Hellesylt. Here you go onboard the ferry for the one hour cruise along the spectacular Geiranger Fjord, possibly the most impressive of all Norwegian fjords. During the cruise you will pass close to some magificent waterfalls such as the Bridal Veil and Seven Sisters. Dinner and accommodation at the famous Union Hotel, overlooking the Geiranger Fjord.

Day 10: Geiranger-Lillehammer-Oslo. More magnificent scenery today, as your tour crosses first the Grotli Mountains to Lom, then following Lake Vågå, descends the remarkable Gudbrands Valley, renowned for its old farmsteads and beautiful river, to the world-famous town of Lillehammer. Lunch. After lunch time to visit the Olympia Park, before continuing alongside Lake Mjøsa, to arrive back in Oslo during the early evening. Dinner and accommodation at Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel.

Day 11: Oslo departure. The tour ends after breakfast, with transfers to Oslo Airport to connect with individual flight departures. Or, you can continue on the tour to Stockholm and Helsinki.
