Day 1: 07.00 – pick up from your hotel and drive to Amboseli. Arrive in time for lunch at the Amboseli Serena Lodge. Afternoon gamedrive at Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena Lodge Day 2: 06.30 - early morning gamedrive in the Amboseli National Park. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure. After lunch at the lodge, proceed at 1600hrs for an afternoon gamedrive till dusk. Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa's highest mountain - whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in an early morning. The animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You will also see buffalo, black rhino, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge Day 3: 08.00 - pick up and drive to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill lodge. 16.00 - proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and 0vernight at Sarova Lion hill lodge Day 4: 07.00 - pick up and drive via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch. Along the way we will have a distant view of Mt. Longonot, Mt. Margaret and Mt. Suswa. 1600 hrs -An afternoon game drive till dusk. The Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife reserve. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Birds too are prolific. Including migrants, well over 450 species have been recorded, among them, 57 species of birds of prey. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well-spread rainfall year round. Rain, when it falls almost always chooses the late afternoon or night. Between July and October, when the great wildebeest migration is in the Masai Mara National Reserve, the sensation is unparalleled. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Day 5: 06.30 -Early morning gamedrive in the Mara. Later, return to the lodge for breakfast. Rest of the morning to be spent at leisure. (On this day, you also have an optional balloon ride- at an extra cost with pick up from the lodge at 05.00) 16.00 -After lunch at the lodge, proceed for an afternoon gamedrive till dusk.
