Day 1: Tana
Upon arrival into the capital city of Madagascar, known as Tana, clear customs and meet Ortour representative for transfer to Hotel Le Chalet des Roses for overnight (midrange) Tana Hotel (top).
Day 2: Tana – Ankarafantsika
It takes almost whole day driving from Tana to Ankarafantsika. The National Park of Ankarafantsika, in Northwest of Madagascar, is a mosaic of dense and dry forests. Ankarafantsika is known for its lakes, the last refuge of leading species. It is also a haven for lemurs and endemic birds. Ankarafantsika National Park is home to eight lemur species, including Coquerel‘s Sifaka and the recently discovered Microcebus Ravelobensis, Brown lemurs, fat - tailed dwarf lemurs and Sportive, Woolly, Grey mouse. Day 3: Visit at the Park
In the morning, walk to the main heart of the Park to see lemurs, birds, reptiles, and so on. Ankarafantsika is a den of birds and lemurs. This particularity makes the conservation of this National Park a real leitmotiv. Eight species of lemurs have been observed in Ankarafantsika: one strict diurnal species, two cathemeral species, five typically nocturnal species of which the famous Microcebus, the smallest primate in the world. 129 species of birds nest in the forest of Ankarafantsika. 75 among them are endemic. Ankarafansika is also home of local endemic reptile species. A total of 10 amphibian and 44 reptiles’ species are recorded within this Park .Back to the Bungalow for overnight
Day 4: Ankarafantsika - Mahajanga
Leave Ankarafantsika and take an early drive toward the capital of the western part of the island known as Majunga. Majunga is symbolized as the nation’s heart place of the giant Baobad. The baobab tree is famous for its emblem circumference exceptional 21. 70 meters to a meter above the ground, its height does not exceed 10 meters. It has more than 800 years. Early transfer to the airport for flight to Diego Suarez which is a unique port on the northern tip of the island Then drive to Montagne D’Ambre. The national park of the amber Mountain spreads on 23,010 ha of which 18,200 ha for the National Park and 4,810 ha for the Reserve Special Forest of amber. It is a volcanic massif covered of forest spreading on 850 to 1,475 m. Six lakes and several streams and rivers furrow the park, night visit at the park. Day 6: Montagne D’Ambre - Diego
Morning visit at Montagne d’Ambre, after the visit return to Diégo,
The Amber Mountain is a high place of endemicity with 77 species of birds, seven species of lemurs and 24 species of amphibian. Overnight at Jardin Exotique (midrange) or at Grand hotel (top).
Day 7: Diego - Ankarana
Leave Diégo to Ankarana, Ankarana is home to many species of lemurs such as the crowned lemurs, Sanford’s brown lemurs and different species of birds. Also, it is mostly known for its limestone pinnacles or the Tsingy. The biological inventories of Ankarana reported 50 herpetofauna species with 40 reptiles and 10 amphibians, also reported 96 species of birds, 50 species of mollusks and a huge number of snails of the tsingy. 14 species of bats, either the half of the bats of Madagascar lives in the underground cave of Ankarana. Day 8: Ankarana - Ankify - Nosybe
Drive from Ankarana and take the speed boat to Nosybe. Relax on the beach, Nosybe is the apotheosis of tourism in Madagascar. The charm offered its beaches, vegetation, population and its sun, sea-bottom came together to found his fame. It is found that the term "Earthly Paradise" is best suited to describe this island of rare beauty. The temperature of this island is very pleasant and the sky is always bright to allow the full benefit of the sea Enjoy the fascinating spectacle offered by a sunset and melodious rustle of the ocean; Overnight at the hotel Sarimanok ( midrange) or Nosybe hotel (top) or Andilana Beach (top).
Day 9: Nosy Be - Nosy Tanikely
Take a boat and depart to Nosy Komba which is only a dozen kilometres from Nosy Be which is accessible by boat. In Nosy Komba, tourists are likely to enjoy close contact with the domesticated black and brown lemurs that gently jump onto your shoulders expecting to eat bananas. Continue by boat to Nosy Tanikely constitutes an underwater reserve which offers a very suitable diving site. With just a mask and a tuba, one can start appreciating the parade of the thousands of species of fish starting from only some meter from the beach and see grouper, moonfish, swordfish, barracuda, parrots, lines, clown fishes, moray, turtles…These species grind around splendid corals, like a patrol. The marine reserve of Nosy Tanikely presents a broad sandy beach for snorkelling activities that most people love the clear water you can see an amazing variety of marine life, starfish, anemones, very colored shape of fish, and lobsters. Have a lunch under the green shade of the trees in front the clear water and white sand, after lunch swim and relax, then return to Nosybe at around 3:30 pm return. Day 10: Nosy Be
Free day. Overnight at the hotel Sarimanok (midrange) or Nosybe hotel (top) or Andilana Beach (top).
Day 11: Nosy Be - Tana
After lunch, take the flight in the afternoon to Tana. Overnight at the hotel Le Chalet des Roses (midrange) or Tana Hotel (top).
Day 12: Transfer and fly home.
