Day 1: Tana Arriving at Ivato international airport, clear customs and meet our representative for transfer to the Hotel Chalet des Roses (midrange) or Tana Hotel (top) for overnight. Days 2-3: Tana - Andasibe Morning drive to go to Andasibe where tourists are expected to see and meet the biggest quasi-untailed lemur known as the Indri (indri indri). Andasibe is a rainforest area covered of 810 hectare; the national park of Analamazaotra often referred to Périnet, the Indri’s home. Mantadia and the Special Reserve of Indri of Analamazaotra form the complex Andasibe Mantadia. These two protected areas are identical but unfortunately the human pressures separated them. Mantadia spreads over 15 480 ha. Overnight at Hotel Feon’ny Ala (mid range) or Hotel Vakona (top). Day 4: Andasibe - Foulpointe Morning walk at the reserve to see the biggest lemur (Indri). The park of Andasibe accommodates a lot of animals which assure their perpetuity at the same time. 108 species of birds are known in the park, some of which play a role in the survival of plants like Terpsiphone mutata. We can also find 14 species of lemurs in there, 51 species of reptiles, the famous Boa manditra and 84 species of amphibian. Lunch at the hotel before driving to Foulpointe. Leaving Andasibe to the Eastcoast, spend one hour visit at Ivoloina Botanical Garden, conservation centre and Zoo. It is a wonderful place; there are a few species of lemurs and turtles. When arriving in Foulpointe , relax at the beach –white sand, green vegetation, nice for snorkeling and rich of seafood. Overnight at hotel Mandabeach (Midrange / Top) or La Pirogue (mid range). Days 5-7: Foulpointe – Soanierana Ivongo – Sainte Marie Morning boat riding from Soanierana Ivongo to go to the Island of Sainte Marie, leaving at 9:00 am to Sainte Marie which is a small paradise of beach and a good place to see the hump-backed whales. Overnight at Maningory Hotel (Midrange), Hotel Soanambo (top), and Hotel Princesse Bora (top). Day 8: Sainte Marie Fly back to Antananarivo and take the flight home. Notes: Prices:
