Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Tana Arriving at Ivato international airport, clear customs and meet Ortour representative for transfer to the Hotel Chalet des Roses (midrange) or Tana Hotel (top) for overnight. Day 2: Tana - Antsirabe Leave Antananarivo to Antsirabe, drive through the high land’s landscape. It is an area of rolling hills interspersed with terracing and rice paddies, dotted with picturesque villages. Arrive in Antsirabe. Visit the surrounding: lake sacred Tritriva, Andraikiba and the workshop of semi - precious and precious stones. Hotel Le Trianon (mid range), Villa Camélia/ Couleur Café /Le Voyageur (top). Day 3: Antsirabe - Miandrivazo Drive from Antsirabe to Miandrivazo (220 km). Miandrivazo primarily is notable as the starting point for canoe trip down to Belo Sur Tsiribihina. This area is one of the hottest in Madagascar, so bring thin clothes and umbrellas. Overnight at Hotel Princesse deTsiribihina (Top, mid range) or Hotel Lakana (mid range). Day 4: Canoeing The first day of the river trip allows you to meet cameleons and birds also quieter and giving you a chance to observe natural attractions, well the boat is comfortable and fast. Camping. Day 5: Canoeing The best part of the canoe trip, passing the Gorge of Bemaraha, a thick forest, sifaka lemurs and lemur fulvus are drinking water on the side of the river. The bird life along the river is particulary noteworthy. Camping. Day 6: Canoeing About half day canoeing and arrive at the small port of Belo Sur Tsiribihina and continue by 4WD to the Tsingy of Bemaraha in Bekopaka. Bekopaka is the small village near the Tsingy of Bemaraha,The Tsingy is 152 000 hectares (66 630 hectares of which have national park status) is one of the largest protected areas in Madagascar. The Tsingy is a vast forest of rugged and eroded karst pinnacles. There are about 90 species of birds, 8 species of reptiles and 11 species of lemurs. Overnight at the Hotel Orchidée de Bemaraha (midrange and top),Vazimba Hotel (top). Day 7: Tsingy visit Full day visit at both small and big Tsingy. Bemaraha is a high spot of endemism and diversity. The scientists estimate that the general endemism of this park is 86, 7% and the eco - regional one is 47%. 11 species of lemurs are listed from there, five families of Bats, 103 species of bird -species. The index of the reptiles and amphibians is as large as Bemaraha possesses 34 species that are all endemic. There is a broad canyon which is crossed by a swinging suspension bridge. Amid all this grey are splashes of green from the Pachypodiums and other succulents. And there is plenty of wildlife too, expecting to see long eared owls perched on a branch. In the forests there are troops of Decken’s sifaka and red fronted brown lemurs. Day 8: Tsingy - Morondava Drive back to Morondava, an hour stop at the babaob alley, this good apportunity to take a photo during the sunset. Overnight at Renala Sable d’Or (mid range/Top) or Hotel Baobab café (mid range and top), Meva Hotel (mid range). Day 9: Morondava - Tana This day, we take a flight to get to Tana, our final destination before flying back home. Notes: Prices:
