Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Armenia International airport "Zvartnots", transfer to a centrally located hotel.

Day 2: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Echmiadzin -Yerevan.

Yerevan sightseeing, including City centre, Republic Square, City panorama, Cascade, Parliament, President’s Palace, Opera, Matenadaran, Sports & Concert Complex. Visit to Garni pagan temple (I Century AD).Trip to Geghard Monastery, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive to St. Echmiadzin - the administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Zvartnots temple, a ruined seventh century circular Armenian cathedral (641-653) - another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ride back to Yerevan.

Day 3: Yerevan-Khor Virap-Noravank-Goris/Sisian.

Drive to Khor Virap, where St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for 13 years before curing King Trdat III of a disease. Drive to Vayots Dzor region. Visit to local Areni Winery for wine tasting and to Noravank, a spectacular 13th century monastery.Drive to Goris/Sisian city.

Day 4: Goris/Sisian-Tatev-Yeghegnadzor/Jermuk.

Journey to Tatev monastery, the Armenian most renowned spiritual center of its time. You can also reach Tatev monastery by The Tatev Aerial Tramway (Cable Car)*, the longest one in the world. Drive to Yeghegnadzor. Stopover for a visit to Zorats Karer (Karahunj) – ancient, 6000 years old astrological observatory. Karahunj sounds similar to Stonehenge and is translated as “singing or sounding stones”.

Day 5: Yeghegnadzor/Jermuk - Selim - Noratus - Sevan - Diijan.

Drive to Lake Sevan via Selim pass and caravanserai. Lake Sevan is one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world. Sightseeing Noratus, a medieval cemetery with a large number of khachkars (cross stones). Visit Lake Sevan peninsula and the Sevanavank monastery.Travel to mountainous resort Dilijan.

Day 6: Lori region – Alaverdi city - Sanahin - Haghpat monasteries

These complexes are considered to be UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The architectural complexes of Sanahin and Haghpat are among the outstanding works of medieval Armenian architecture. Here you can admire the nature which is really very fascinating.Return back to Yerevan. Farewell dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport.
