Phillip Island is home to one of the largest little penguin colonies in the world. The little penguin is the world’s smallest penguin species and the only penguin permanently found in Australia.
The Koala Conservation Centre is also home to a host of Australian wildlife – swamp wallabies, nocturnal brushtail and ringtail possums, echidnas and over 80 species of birds. Two elevated treetop boardwalks allow superb close viewing of wild koalas in six hectares of Australian bushland.
