This is an exciting day excursion that takes you to visit the largest park in Kenya in terms of square meters. The Tsavo National Park is divided into the eastern and western side and both parks are located within close proximity of Mombasa and Malindi Towns. The safari starts from your hotel in Mombasa and takes you for a day’s visit into Tsavo East which is patrolled by some of the largest elephant herds in Kenya. Other major attractions within the park include the seasonal Voi River, Mudanda Rock, Lugards Falls, Galana Rapids, crocodile pools and Aruba Dam. Animals easily spotted include elephants, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, hippo, water buck, kudu, and various bird species.
Day 1: Pick up from Mombasa / Tsavo East National Park / Return to Mombasa
Early morning meet and greet at approximately 0700hrs at your hotel in Mombasa and drive to Tsavo East arriving for morning game viewing. Have bathroom break or lunch at one of the camps / lodges located inside the park then continue with game drives in the company of your expert guide who will stop frequently to help you spot, identify and photograph different animals and birds. Exit from park at 1600hrs and drive back to your hotel.
