Tour Itinerary: Day 1. Welcome to the Romania! Our English speaking guide collects you from Bucharest Airport, followed by city tour and transfer to hotel. Day 2. Bucharest - Curtea de Arges - Poienari - Sibiu In the morning we depart for Sibiu, on the way we visit Curtea de Arges Monastery and the Fortress of Poenari, the most important of Vlad the Impaler's strongholds. Day 3. Sibiu - Bistrita City tour of Sibiu. The fortified town of Sibiu is one of Romania’s most beautiful cities, containing the largest concentrations of tourist attractions in Romania. Enjoy a traditional Saxon meal in one of the best restaurants in Sibiu. Drive towards Bistrita and accommodation at Dracula Castle Hotel. Day 4. Bistrita - Biertan - Sighisoara Visit the Fortified Church of Biertan (UNESCO World Heritage) one of the best preserved fortified medieval churches in Transylvania. Afterwards we continue our trip to Sighisoara. Stroll around the streets of the old citadel; visit the Clock Tower, concentrating Sighisoara’s history, the Church on the Hill, the Schollars Covered Stairs. You can even enjoy lunch in the very house where Vlad the Impaler was born, turned today into a cosy restaurant. Day 5. Sighisoara - Bran - Rasnov - Brasov Morning drive to Bran to visit the legendary Bran Castle, the symbol Transylvania. Bran owes its fame both to its unique charm and to the myth Bram Stoker created around Dracula. Next stop Rasnov Citadel. Standing on top of a hill that is overlooking an incredible Transylvanian landscape, Rasnov is the best preserved rural fortification in Transylvania and the largest one in Eastern Europe, first documented in 13 century. Walking tour of Brasov historical center in the afternoon and dinner in an wine cellar restaurant. Day 6. Brasov - Targoviste - Snagov - Bucharest Morning drive to Targoviste, former capital of Walachia situated on the right bank of Ialomita River, to visit the ruins of Vlad's Old Court. We continue with the famous Snagov Monastery the burial place of Dracula. Arrival in Bucharest and accommodation in Bucharest. Day 7. Goodbye beloved vampire! Airport transfer.
