The park is fenced along three sides, where it is adjacent to urban housing, industry, roads and airports; only the southern border, along the Embakasi and Athi rivers, is open for animal dispersal. The park has healthy populations of big game among which include Zebras, Wildebeests, Elands which are July–August migrants into the park and African Lions, Cape Buffaloes, Leopards, Nile Crocodiles, Cheetahs, Hippopotamus, just to mention but a few. The park is a rhino sanctuary and numbers of the Black Rhino are steadily increasing. Overnight at Nairobi Safari Club (Meal Plan Full Board). Day 2: Kenya Wildlife Safari to Tsavo East National Park. We have breakfast then transfer to the home of the once-known-as-man-eaters’ home; Tsavo East National Park. This has made it a very popular safari destination world over. Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest National Parks in Kenya after being established in April 1948 and yet together with Tsavo West, makes the biggest game reserves in the world with 40% of the total area of all Kenyan National Parks.
