Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival for Kenya Safari – Africa Big Five Tour. Arrive in Kenya, you will meet your guide then transfer to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, you visit Nairobi National Park or the National Museum of Kenya. Nairobi National Park established in 1746, is today Kenya’s oldest Game Park. Lying only 7 km away from Nairobi capital city, the park surprisingly still has varied habitats which include open, rolling grass plains, riverine woodland, valley thicket and bush, artificial dams and ponds, rocky gorges and upland dry forest. The park is fenced along three sides, where it is adjacent to urban housing, industry, roads and airports; only the southern border, along the Embakasi and Athi rivers, is open for animal dispersal. The park has healthy populations of big game among which include Zebras, Wildebeests, Elands which are July–August migrants into the park and African Lions, Cape Buffaloes, Leopards, Nile Crocodiles, Cheetahs, Hippopotamus and some more who are residents. The park is a rhino sanctuary and numbers of the Black Rhino are steadily increasing. Overnight at Nairobi Safari Club (Meal Plan Full Board). Day 2 & 3: Transfer to Samburu Game Reserve. After breakfast, we head north to Samburu Game Reserve. Game drives at Amboseli will target species confined to this area in Kenya among which include; Gravy’s zebra, Giraffe-necked gazelle (Gerenuk) and the Beisa Oryx. Other species go along. Overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge (Meal Plan Full Board). Day 4: Transfer to Mount Kenya for an Overnight. We have breakfast in the morning, and then transfer to Mount Kenya National Park. The park was named after mountain Kenya- Mountain Kenya at 5,199m is Kenya’ highest mountain and also Africa’ second highest after Mount Kilimanjaro. This site boost health wildlife, during this short stay, expect to pocket Black-and-white Colobus Monkey, Sykes monkey, Bushbuck, Cape Buffalo, African Elephant, Olive Baboon, Waterbuck, Black Rhino, Leopard, Giant Forest Hog, Genet Cat, Bush Pig, Spotted Hyena and many more. Overnight at Mountain Lodge (Meal Plan Full Board). Day 5: Transfer to Lake Nakuru for Bird Watching. This morning we transfer to one of the world’s most popular bird sanctuaries- Lake Nakuru. Over one million flamingoes at the site turn the shores of Lake Nakuru into a floating pink carpet. The park is a sanctuary for the Black Rhino and White Rhino, the latter introduced from South Africa. Rothschild’s Giraffe was also introduced into the park in 1977. The rare Ethiopian Large-eared Roundleaf Bat is resident. Other large mammals, some recently reintroduced, include African Lion, Cape buffalo, Leopard, Black-and-white Colobus Monkey in the forest, the Common Eland, Steinbok, Impala, Chandler's Reedbuck, Dikdik in the bush-land along with the Rock hyrax and the Klipspringer on the cliffs and escarpment. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (Meal Plan Full Board). Day 6: Transfer to Nairobi for Departure. We have breakfast then transfer to the airport for your departure.
